My main part starting out was, wy would anyone care that a boxer talks about himself in the 3rd person, let alone write a mini college paper on it. It then transcended into a "why does Khan ger so much hate" type response. It finished up with a comparison of how some guys stay liked even though they are actual complete scumbags like Tyson was,yet Khan, who comes off actually pretty decent as a person gets a lot of hate. And that in essence was my response.
I think it's just a bit hard for people to take that Amir's changed so drastically with success.I've been guilty of thinking this but fair do's.Most people do and it's not something that can really be held up to scrutiny. Most boxers lose a bit of humility when they achieve real success. It's being a bit picky and I admit I've done it.
It's an American thing. If you look at Brits who have done it (Khan, Hatton, Lewis) it is usually after they have spent some time fighting in America. Fair enough if they want to do that over there but when they come back home they should knock it on the head as they just come across as tits.
