Perhaps. Haye/Harrison did brilliant business (nearly a million buys) but Sky/Hayemaker took a lot of criticism for the poor quality of the undercard, and also for only showing one undercard fight throughout the broadcast..... instead they had several pundits giving it the big sell about being a 50-50 fight. It was a blatant cashgrab by all concerned, including Harrison. It seems Khan is the victim of that event, at least they tried to put a good undercard together but circumstances have led to it being a **** bill. Sky also want to get Froch on their channel, so there's only so much in the pot to go around it seems.
It may probably work out better in the long run, loads of people heard about the awesome Maidana fight, so hopefully Sky Sports subscribers will all tune in for free next week and get hyped up for the unification fight with Bradley which will be a bigger deal. Frankly Amir owes anyone who paid for the Barrera fight IMO. ALSO, like has already been mentioned, they will focus more on the undercard and not have it all end up resting on one fight eg. Fury/Rahman - which is not happening and Fury is definitely not fighting on the undercard which Fury confirmed himself on BBC London Boxing Hour. Side note - Rahman was offered $250,000 and even signed the contracts according to Tyson Fury!!?
