But he'll never get any props as people will always look for an angle to discredit him and any achievements. You have to live with the haters, though- they, like evrybody else, are entitled to their opinions even if those opinions are daft.

This is why people including myself don't like him. If he wins the fights the OP mentioned though then all credit to him.

Khan has reach and speed but he's not a master boxer.

I don't know where all this "he can just get get on his bike and box him for twelve rounds" comes from. From what I remember Khan is a reckless combination puncher who doesn't have the best defence, and can be hurt to both head and body. Tying up a bloodied and one-eyed Barrera, who had seen better days and was moving up in weight, doesn't automatically erase that fact for me.

Maidana, a come forward brawler who throws wide arching punches, and can bang like a mutha, seems a very bad style for Khan.

No. The reason Khan was stopped by Prescott is because Prescott hit him. Nothing to do with trading with a banger. Khan has been wobbled or put down by far lighter punchers and even a half blinded old man from a much lower weight class before Uncle Frank had the fight stopped.

The guy is a hype job and Fwank Warren is a total tool for holding back Prescott the way he has been.

Losfer Words you should change your username to Loser Words because when you support Frank Warren's manipulation of the sport through the likes of Khan you are p!ssing on many a talented fighter who can't get a break because of the 'insider trading' at play.

And surely I'm not the only one who sees the irony in someone called Solid Chin starting a thread in support of Amir Khan!

khans a chinny fighter thats been proven, khans speed is his power no doubt he will have to outbox every opponent everytime specially pressure fighters. move and keep the hands up he cant exchange with big hitters at elite level. saying that let him have his opportunity and see if he can hang with these guys, personally jus dont see it

:goodWhat a witty comeback. Who said I supported Warren's manipulation of the sport anyway? Stop making assumptions- I won't stoop to your level and insult you, though. Best of luck with everything you ever do.

Is it possible roach is overestimating khan's improvements in the chin department.....

they moved up to 140, because they said he was drained making weight at 135, which i think is somewhat true....

but the thing that gets me is roach says, that khan stepped into prescott's power shot.....and he wont make the same mistake twice.....i dont know freddie:huh

Freddie is just bragging up his fighter. He won't be the first, or the last, trainer to do that.

no what pisses me of is that kahn is stil treated like some kind of superstar yet the guy who totally anihilated him has completely slipped under the radar, and hardly ever gets a mention anymore.

I agree with just about everything u said there apart from prescott deserving a shot at barrera and then the title shot. apart from knock khan silly in one round he's done **** all, and doesnt deserve a shot yet. nor does khan. i dont hate the lad, i just dont think he's world champ material. he's just a built up, warren-money machine. i thought we'd seen the back of him after prescott ****ed him, but no. a quick, predictable win over a **** little irish fella, beats a faded legend and bang! ****ing title shot. its wrong.

Khan is a DELUSIONAL BUM who will be starched by the next, non-dead opponent he faces. Firstly it was Prescott and that ended in a LIFE THREATENING KO.

Now Kotelnik will bring the pain.
