He has to be up there. Others have named heavyweights, but they should really be in a category of their own. It's a different ballgame at HW. I used to like Khan. His chin may have been weak, but he had a hell of a heart and he has been in some good fights. I went off him after the Garcia fight, though, as he went years embarrassingly begging for a Mayweather and Pacquiao fight all the while taking relatively easy fights to protect him from another loss and keep his slim chances of Floyd or Pac throwing him a bone. There were plenty of other good welterweights around who he could have fought and massively increased his chances of getting the big fight. Brook being the most obvious one. Obviously, he eventually got the Canelo and Crawford fights (both underserved), but those four years between the Garcia and Canelo fights Khan was 26-30, his physical prime, and he should have been taking riskier fights to build a better legacy and maybe getting the Floyd or Pac fights. At 26 years of age he acted like an old, faded, once great fighter acts; playing it safe until their name alone gets them an underserved shot at a top fighter.
