So it was pure luck, his trainer was at fault and he was being drained at 140. He used similar excuses after Prescott sparked him. If it was pure luck why didn't he pursue the rematch as viciously as he did for Peterson?. Fact is, Garcia was timing him with that punch and threw it numerous times before eventually catching Khan as he jumps in predictably with one twos.

 

Punch wasn't lucky in the slightest. Garcia was trying to counter him throughout the fight. Khan always instigates and because he throws in combination is there to be countered. You could see Garcia looking to counter whenever Khan attacked from the first round. Khan was predictable and it was only a matter of time that he got caught.

The fact Khan thinks it's a lucky punch just goes to show how little knows in terms of strategy, boxing knowledge and his own flaws as a fighter. He would lose again to Garcia getting caught by another counter.

 

Even Molina, who was carefully picked for his small size and lack of power, was timing and landing that very same punch on Khan the entire night. Sadly he had no power at all to trouble Khan like others would have. Khan knows it wasn't lucky, he's just talking smack to stay relevant in the sport. There's a reason he cruised away with excuses from rematches against Prescott and Garcia only to demand and enforce one with Peterson.

 

No,he wants his retirement fight against Money{for money}.Chances are he'd suffer the same fate against Garcia.May even go the distance against Floyd if he's lucky and has enough left.I can't really knock Amir as Ive enjoyed watching him since the Olympics but if Angel called him for a fight with Danny,to split the purse,Im sure he would refuse.

 

I have absolutely no idea what fight you were watching. If you watch that fight from a neutral perspective without holding a bias disposition for either fighter, it was quite clear Lucas lost that fight.

 

Khan is an arrogant *****, this arrogance is the reason he keeps getting knocked out and will continue to do so.

 

Why doesn't Khan ever try to avenge his losses?

He has been seeking for it since that loss...instead he is now fighting GayWeather LOOOOOOL. While Garcia is fighting Herrera and avoiding a Mattysse rematch. The hypocrisy is strong.

 

The only rematch khan ever got was with kindelan who after schooling khan when it mattered uncle frank flew over for a free holiday and gave a nice back hander. If he's being looked after even before he took his vest and head guard off its no wonder he's a deluded little s h i t now.
