It isn't luck when you have the defense and brains of Khan and get knocked silly

I'd say it is if you get a gift.

Juan Coggi was sure as hell lucky to win the "fight" against Eder Gonzalez.

 

a gift is not luck...it's corruption or incompetence.

i was speaking more to the idea of a lucky punch. ppl say marquez landed a lucky punch on pac. there was video footage of him practicing, landing and dropping an opponent in sparring with the very same punch that put pacs lights out. that is not luck. he trained to do that. the same can be said for the punch tarver landed on jones....and the punch that garcia dropped khan with.

 

alot of people after said it was a lucky shot. and the more we watched garcia most of us realize it wasnt luck.

after i seen garcia beat kendall holt like nothin n eat kendalls left hook like nothing i new he was the man. and i deff was pickin him to beat khan but i cant even lie i thought lucas was going to beat him. and lucas and garcia have be my top 2 fav fighters

 

Nothing lucky about it, if you watch it you see that he timed him, and landed pretty good shots even before first knockdown as Kellerman pointed out during broadcast, Khan fans and he himself act like Danny didnt land **** before knockdown.

 

This is why I won't respect Khan. He goes into a fantasy land of denial. HE GOT KTFO...

Garcia explained on video WHY he tucked his head down prior to the punch. So that his opponent has less of an idea as to where he is punching.

Khan is a hyped up B fighter. Cut it out Amir and work on that Prescott rematch...

Khan was doing a job on Garcia until that punch, if Khan were to improve his defense he would beat Garcia, but I am not so sure Hunter is the trainer to do it..............

 

Terribly funny. Garcia is NOT a big puncher and he destroyed Khan with one punch.

Agreed! I think Lucas didn't have a plan B after hitting Garcia and not dropping him or knocking him out. Garcia won by at least 3-4 rounds IMO...

 

Luck is not on his side. He's been hit with a few "lucky" punches in his career. I truly hope Mayweater fights Maidana. The Khan fight is just totally worthless and undeserved. Say what you will, at least Canelo stepped in the ring with Trout, and Guerrero technically won 6 titles. They at least had something going for them. Khan's been fighting guys not in the top ten, and not even in the same weight division.
