Yeah and then Diaz hit him with another 'lucky shot' in a later fight. In earlier fights everyone from Willie Limond to Bredis Prescott has tagged Khan with 'lucky shots'.

No such thing as a 'lucky shot' when your defense and chin are so weak. The dudes been KO'd on a jab before. A jab!

Funny, the only people who always feel luck played a part is the fanboys of the boxer. Its boxing, Garcia threw a punch (in boxing you do throw punches), Garcia landed, Khan got ktfo.

Luck would be, if there was a banana peel in the ring & khan happend to slide on it making him loose his balance & provided Garcia a chance to land a shot. Now that would be luck.

khan never said he sparred andre ward dumbass

he said he sparred with ward's sparring partners

i agree.. was kind of disappointed lucas didn't have anything else to offer... when he saw his punches weren't casuing much damage he seemed quite average... but yes danny won quite clearly...

there are not lucky punches in boxing... if khan wants to stay in the pocket like a dumbass then he's going to get dropped

It's for this reason why he doesn't learn and improve. Utter denial.

I wouldn't put Lewis' down to luck, but I would argue that Haymaker from Rahman would've put paid to 99% of Heavyweights at the time. Luck it was not, a massive haymaker, most certainly.

The Price and Khan ones though, no luck there, Thompson wore the big man down, I'd possibly argue it was more a stamina issue than a chin issue, although Price has been decked in the AMs, but the second fight really highlighted the mans stamina issues for me.

Khan was looked scared shitless everytime Garcia landed, the one he was put out by wasn't a lucky shot, it actually looked quite light compared to the ones he'd taken before, I think it was just one shot too many for him.

No it wouldn't have. Tyson, Holyfield, Foreman (old), Mercer, Cooper, etc... all would have taken that shot.

Don't hide the fact Lewis had a less than stellar chin.

Rahman was a big puncher though so I think it prob would have done damage to any heavyweight out there.

It's the McCall fight which raises questions about Lewis' chin.
