Fairplay IronBull you were actually able to post something interesting for once ;)

I think this would be the perfect trainer for Khan if Khan goes away and trains in America, we all saw what happened to Alex Arthur when he was 'trained' by Freddie Roach . Khan needs to properly work with Roach to develop, and developing he certainly needs because in his current form he would get taken out by any World level Lightweight .

Agree with Bigears, if he's coached by Roach then thats good news.

However if he's "coached" by Roach in the same manner Alex Arthur was against Gomez then thats a different bag of cats!!

Freddie seems genuinally excited at the prospect of training Khan.

I just hope it comes off.

Freddie and Khan will be unstoppable!

Alex Arthur went over to the States to train with Freddie Roach for the Gomez fight but Roach didn't come over to the UK to be in Arthur's corner on fight night and as you know Arthur lost the fight.

Yes but if you are an average fighter t then Roach or no Roach, no trainer is going to stop the likes of gomez beating you.

Saying Alex Arthur is an average fighter isn't right IMO

He'll prove a lot of people wrong against Cook

Very true. Nate Campbell's just said the same thing on the radio. It's not about the trainer but about the fighter. Nate said if you're getting dropped by feather fisted fighters at the moment then changing coach won't change that.

So long as he's not weight drained he will, but I'm not sure how effectively he can make Super-Featherweight anymore .

I'd like to see him move up to lightweight to be honest, what a division that would be!!

I can see Khan 'doing an Arthur' & dropping Roach quite quickly.

Khans too much of a family man, & he wont be the big star in Roachs gym. Once the novelty wears off, like Arthur Khan will come back to these shores.
I just cant see a homeloving Bolton lad settling in America for too long.

If he does though, like Arthur it will be the biggest mistake he ever makes.
But Khan being too far away from his family & friends on these shores? he will crack. just my opinion mind.

Roach wasnt even present at his camp. He was busy with Manny. AA was just an after thought.
