Credit to Amir for doing this, I personaly would not give a penny because it is well documented that some of these charities have either launderd or had many stolen from them which has went on to create IED's which have killed our troops and fed no starving children and 60 mill from the public would dump our troops right in the ****.

Bin ladens been dead since late 2001 - he's just a mythic bogeyman to scare voters in presidential elections.

Unlike the live aid money in 1985 which ended up in the hands of the militants fighting the civil war that caused the ethiopian crisis - Pakistan releif work is under the eyes of Oxfam,Unicef and the U.N plus the worlds media is there as well .

This is a big gesture by khan - one thats worthy of the name 'champion' I dont like him as a fighter but you have to admire him for this.

By your logic, the only suitable way to donate aid would be to every incident of poverty in every country in the world. Might be a bit tricky.

And do you think aid is just put in the pockets of governments like it was in the 80's?

Have you never actually seen on the news the vast UN/Red cross etc relief operations? Maybe a bit gets filtered away here and there, thats not a reason to not give aid.

It's amazing how this debate has veered completely off target. Shows that there are many idiots about. I am British, with German and Irish Grandparents, and my girlfriend is from Cyprus.
