    Amir says

'Opponents are quite hard to get. We asked about (Erik) Morales, but he said no. Bradley (titlist Timothy Bradley Jr.) has said no, just refused to fight me even though we offered him everything he wanted. I really think he just doesn't want to fight me no matter what's on the table. It's too bad because the fans want to see it. But I know I am No. 1 in the division and that's what most other people say also because Bradley has not been active and he just won't fight me. Lamont is a credible opponent. He got a draw with Ortiz, who is now fighting Mayweather," Khan, 24, said. "Now he's my mandatory and it would be a good fight. He wants to fight and I am willing to fight him. That's probably the best fight for me before I move up to welterweight.'

    Guys any thoughts on this?

It is, and I don't think he wants Maidana again with a move up to welterweight after this. Do you think Bradley is hurt? Personal/private issues? Promised a bigger fight? Don't know why he dosent want to face Khan...

    Its going to be Peterson.

    What options we got......

    1. Maidana (Been there already and won)
    2. Prescott (Not a bad shout but been exposed to many times)
    3. McCloskey ( When it comes to it he will fancy Maidana over khan)
    4. Zab (We wont even go there)
    5. Morales (Has openly said he dont want khan)

    Thats its really.

    Devon has moved to 147.
Matthsse and the ghost are injured.
    Bradley is ducking.

It will 100% be Peterson unless he makes silly demands again but after being blown out last time im sure he wont pass on a career high payday!

Yes he still has a legal battle going on. The funny thing is it started because he wont fight Khan which for him would be a massive payday and a career high.

He still honestly thinks he will get Pac or Floyd and it will never happen! Its safe to say i think we have seen the last of Bradley till Khan moves up and he grows some balls again.

Bradley doing a U-turn ****ed everything up. Khan's opponents in 2011 would have been McCloskey, Judah and Bradley. No one would have complained about that.

Respect for taking on Peterson. Khan has tried to fight the best, he's had a good run of tough fights that he could probably get away with a soft stay busy tune-up fight.

Taking on Peterson s yet another high risk tough fight form Khan.

Much Respect, Froch and Khan from England for setting the Pace on how boxing should be done.

I think the main reason why Khan's team have been interested in Peterson, is because he's a beatable opponent that may give them an idea of what they'll be up against when they eventually get a chance to face Mayweather. Now, before you all jump on my back, I'm not saying Peterson is a carbon-copy of Mayweather, I'm just saying he's a good mover with a good defence, and will force Khan to think more about his attacks. This is probably why I was keen them securing Peterson back in April, for what we thought was going to be a warm-up bout for Bradley.

Peterson is a very credible opponent, I can only give Khan props for facing him. Its a shame that Peterson isnt a big name fighter because Amir deserves a big name fight
