How do you think Khan would have done if he were trained by Adam Booth? Booth seems to do well with fast, explosive fighters with weak chins like Haye.

You could have Khan be trained by Eddie Futch, Ray Arcel, Angelo Dundee, or Cus D'amato and he would still be getting knocked around.

He had Roach and Hunter so it's not like he didn't have decent trainers.

He had two problems. Firstly commitment, when he hooked up with Hunter, Hunter said he was surprised that Khan didn't train year round and only trained in camps when he had a fight scheduled. Hunter changed that initially getting Khan to move base to the US, but that didn't last long, probably due to pressure from his wife in the UK to move back because she couldn't trust him to keep it in his pants with her on the other side of the Atlantic.

Second problem he had was a lack of intelligence, he's never been a smart fighter or person in general, you can have the best teacher in the world but the teachers success is limited by the students ability to learn and in Khan case he never had the capacity to evolve much beyond what he was.

I think people need to relax with the hate.
Let’s be real here he ended his career as a multi weight world champion I seem to remember he was also a unified champ?

He beat multiple past present and future world champs whilst he was at it so he did better than 95% of guy who ever laced up the gloves. Too much gets said about his chin(or lack of it) could he have been better under Booth? Maybe but at the end of the day imo he had better trainers in Roach and Hunter.

Oddly I feel he went backwards under Hunter. For whatever reason they never worked well once it got to the ring. The Khan who beat Kotelnik(SP??) Maidana and Alexander at the time would have given anyone in his respective weight class a hell of a fight.

Saying that it was his boxing IQ which let him down in the end, once he got clipped the game plan went out the window.
