There are some parallels between these two. Both were Olympic medallists at the age of 17, Meldrick a gold in 1984 and Amir a silver in 2004. Meldrick had VERY fast hands, possibly faster than Amir :think. Khan became a world champ last night at 22 and Taylor was 21 when he beat Buddy McGirt for the IBF LWW title. Let's say they fight just after they've won a world title. So Khan is 21-1 15KO's coming in from the Kotelnik win last night. Taylor is 20-0-1 11KO's. Who wins? :hey:think
Is this supposed to be a wind-up thread Ishy? I've see the Khan v Duran one in the GF you copycat:deal
There's a Khan-JMM at LWW thread on the GF as well atsch. The Duran one is bad but what makes it worse is that the thread starter set it at WW :rofl.
Nice call Ishy, I think Khan would be ahead on points throughout but he has zero chance of standing up to the type of flurry that Meldrick inflicted on Chavez.... pre Chavez defeat there weren;t many that could touch Taylor and he was probably number 2 p4p in the world.
