I'm not a big fan of his but he talks well in this interview: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cCfPBlOPTiU[/ame]
Although he's not the most articulate speaker, he says the simple things in a simple manner. Which suits him well. I don't think he will ever aim to be a flamboyant character like Naseem, or a witty guy like Hatton, it's not within his nature. In regards to his ability, it will be interesting to see how he'll be developed in the next year or so. With Freddy guiding him, he seems to have come a long way.
****, I was about to write how humbled and down to earth he was in the interview, and then he says God did it for a reason when talking about the Prescott defeat. Jeez, that sounds as ******ed as his accent.
...and this takes away his humbleness? If that's the case, Pacquiao must be the most obnoxious and arrogant fu**er out there
How is it that these fighters don't know much about the sport outside of the dynamics? Khan wasn't even sure if 140lbs was Junior Welterweight. Even Enzo knows that.
If he was humble, he could just say that he lost to a better man, and that God had nothing to do with Prescott's punches. Bringing God into the equation for his loss is just stupid
He was implying that he was foolish on the night, making foolish mistakes. He has said this numerous times in the past. It served him right to get knocked out like he did, because it gave him a kick up the ass and prompted him to re-assess himself, and make the necessary changes. As for Prescott being the better man, yes of course he was (although the fight was so ridiculously short to even assess). But look at the situation now. They keep saying you're only as a good as your last fight. Well Khan wins a world title in an almost flawless display, whilst Prescott looked hopeless in his last outting. The tables have turned big time, and like Khan said....it was a blessing in disguise
