Short Showtime promo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=grP3rtlaonw Khan's legs look alot more skinny than usual Mate thats just a bandana
Its really amazing how most people of this forum think.....2/3rds of the voters think he will turn himself into a slick boxer who avoids trading shots lol and all that in the space of a few months......
It's not whether they think he can. It's they think he should. ALot of them voters would agree that he would be unable to achieve such a feat With Virgil he is clearly working on avoiding getting into brawls he shouldn't and working on defence and some basics
I think going to Virgil Hunter was a smart move for Amir Khan. It's not that Freddy Roach is a bad trainer. It's that he's the wrong trainer for Khan. Khan is never going to be a slick boxer. I can see him being a De La Hoya type though. His abillity to take punches will always be a question mark. I don't think Carlos Molina whp's a prettty good boxer is going to test the chin though.
yes. khan has showed dissapointing performances inside and outside of the ring. hoping for when cherrypicking goes wrong. sho time is the platform for upsets.
what did he do so wrong outside the ring? dont bring up a stupid statement he made - he's not the smartest, stop expecting him to not make a fool out of himself. This fight isn't a cherry pick, who should he have fought coming back from a KO loss, Molina is a good fighter
Khan is going to buttrape Molina lol.. Some people had a sneaky suspicion about Garcia unlike with Molina... Most people knew he had a good chin and good power... But he just had lack luster performances and is slow excluding his counter punches... This fight has been picked so Khan can get used to working under his new trainer and try to use anything new he has been taught in the ring... Don't want to be trying and testing new things in a big fight. Khan knows deep down he should **** Molina.
To me khans career is pretty much over since the Garcia loss but for some reason Im still intrigued and follow what Khans doing because of virgil and what changes we may see. From what little footage and info we have, it looks dissapointing though. Khan only seems to be making incremental changes to his game when he needs a transformation. I know its easier said then done but even his mentality remains the same. He doesnt acknowledge his shortcomings as he should do.. He still makes jackass remarks and still has that same attitude. I dont know much about Molina but that he has fast hands and is unbeaten. This isnt gonna be a cakewalk for khan as his morale may still be low and a hungry molina could be chomping at the bit for recognition. For khan to make anything of his sinking career, he should be going to dem mountain tops and caves and **** with specialist defensive trainers and senseis 24/7 restructuring him and hammering the discipline into his head lol. Not just getting a liccle bit of knowledge and work done with virgil, going raving with his boys and saying "im geh'in stronguhh"
