Great comeback from Khan. TKO before round 11 was to begin.

    3 months...

    Patient.
Used the jab constantly... which he needs to do every fight
Kept that right hand up.. few occasions when he dropped it during offence

Turns out Molina is tough.. bb 330vcash :(

I think the main thing they were thinking about and trying to practice was ring movement.

All Khan would have to do is use that jab and stay away from Garcia to win a decision.

Still same old kahn, who will get knocked out against a credible fighter with decent power.

He does show signs of improvement, but he was still getting caught by those hooks.

On the positive side -- more use of the jab, the upper body movement is a bit better (especially when he bends to the side while throwing the jab), more patient and cautious, and a surprising ability to fight on the inside. The inside fighting is probably the most unexpected thing for me. Usually he just shells up or leans on his opponent, but here he was throwing shots while in the pocket, particularly uppercuts. At some points he was throwing double uppercuts before backing out again, and it worked quite well for him. I also liked that he was jabbing to the body.

Negatives -- still too aggressive, still throwing too many shots. Yes, combinations are nice, but Khan just does more than he needs to. He's still giving his opponent more chances to hit him, even when he's won the round. When he comes forward while punching he also seems to lean in too much, and he looks open to counters at that point. Still vulnerable to hooks while he's throwing, too. Also pulls back in straight lines with his head up sometimes, and Molina was able to lunge forward and land a shot or two like that.

On the whole, he does seem to have improved in some areas. He just still has a fair amount of work to do.

Think this fight was just part of a learning curve..

Needed to see how well Khan executes the things he is bieng taught...

Might have been working on something small for 3 months which he completely failed/couldn't use so now they can focus on it more...

Next fight? Think he should go for ajose olusegun

Guys I stopped watching after round 1 lol. 8 weeks camp... i guess Virgil will study his tape and enforce more. Did he listen to Virgil in the corner and was the TKO convincing? Even when I watched round 1 is was thinking to myself calm the **** down Amir with all this speed... very nice gesture Khan had the Gazza/Palestine ribbon on his kit.

I think Khan needs progress slowly in terms of opponent choice. Now Wards S&C coach will properly start working with him for his upcoming fight. I need to watch the fight now that I know the outcome. Did Khan give any credit to Molina in the post fight interview? Anyone notice Khan had no entrance music lol?

    He did... the standard song...Mr.Capone-E

Don't look in too much detail when you watch the replay.. Khan did a few things which alot of boxing fans won't even pick up... Watch how he uses the ring diffently.

    Finally using the jab constantly...

    No Khan by UD.

It's just that he looked vulnerable.
