He needs to; Pick his weight division carefully. Is he hampered by making weight and a move up would help him, or does he need to keep sacrificing and staying with smaller guys because welterweights would knock him stiff? Either listen to his trainer or pick a new one who can come up a strategy he can realistically use with his level of talent and ring intelligence. Say what you will about Wladimir Klitschko, he used to fight in a straightforward manner and put himself in danger of being knocked out, now with alot of work he's untouchable. Boring but he runs his division, if Khan wants to get back to the top maybe he'll have to learn to skip round jabbing and running. It may go against his natural inclination but it's what he needs to do to win, he can't do toe to toe. Have some realistic aspirations. He isn't going to be boxings next huge star, he's not getting 8 figure paydays against Mayweather or Pacquaio. He'll just have to set his sights a bit lower on guys he can realistically beat.

there is no fun in kicking a man while he is down. he needs to win his **** back and then go to 147 and make some noise there. i dont know if he has a better chance in beating lamont or danny in a rematch, and if he would lose to either one of them in a rematch then that would be the nail in the coffin for a superstar career. he would just have to be a gate keeper, but he aint like my boy judah yet. i think its him more then anyone else in his camp, but even though i think he is set in his ways he still should be able to change or atleast adapt in the ring. i think khan only knows one way and when things dont go his way he will lose. he needs to learn how to adapt in the ring. know when to hold them and no when to fold them as they say in poker.
Thnx bro n well done didn't watch but heard u was amazing RT @AdrienBroner: @AmirKingKhan keep your head high bro your a hell of a fighter
Joe Gallagher: Amir Khan's critics are wrong to write off his career This content is protected There have been many ready to lay the boot into Amir Khan and write off his hopes of becoming a pound-for-pound champion. But I can also assure you that there will be a queue a mile long to work with him if he decides to make a change after his latest defeat. Let’s not kid ourselves – Khan fourth round knockout against Danny Garcia was a major setback for the 25-year-old. It will be a bitter pill to swallow, but he is going to have shelve any plans of a super fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr for the foreseeable future. He clearly still has business to take care of in the light-welterweight division – and the best thing he can do right now is secure an immediate rematch with Garcia. For the record, the left hook that floored him in Las Vegas just happens to be a favourite shot of Mayweather’s. But it is ridiculous to suggest Khan is finished – even if he is on the back of successive defeats. In these situations there is always the cry for root and branch reviews – but Khan just needs tweaking. Having worked with him for two weeks recently I have seen close up what a class act he is. Just working on the pads you can tell the difference between the very good and the world-class – and trust me, Amir Khan is world-class. But there can be no denying that there are elements of his game to work on after defeat to Garcia. He has said himself that he needs to improve defensively – even suggesting he might need to bring on board a specialist defence coach to take him up to the next level. He also says he needs Freddie Roach to give him 100 percent focus when they are together. Roach is one of the top trainers in the world and that’s why he works with the very best – Khan, Manny Pacquaio and Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. As such his time is naturally going to be split between such a stellar camp. Which is why Khan’s plans to employ a specialist defensive coach may be the best thing for him. Just as Pacquiao has his long-term confident Buboy Fernandez by his side, perhaps Khan could benefit from the same. Someone to work with day in, day out while Roach applies the finishing touches. But I don’t go along with any suggestion that he needs a major rebuild to get him on track. Khan’s greatest assets have always been fast hands, fast feet – just like Pacquiao – and it is a case of working to those strengths. You are not going to turn him into a Ricky Hatton or Floyd Mayweather and nor should you want to. If Khan has shown a weakness in recent bouts, it has been his attraction to a 'slugfest'. He had one with Marcos Maidana and won the fight of the year. He had another with Lamont Peterson and we all know what happened there. Against Garcia, he boxed his ears off for two rounds before getting caught with a hammer blow. What Khan needed on that occasion was the type of performance he produced against Andriy Kotelnik to win his first world title. But he loves a tear up and that’s why audiences love him. That’s why US TV are still falling over themselves to get him back on their screens. Khan is must-see TV. And he certainly can’t be accused of taking the easy option. Like Marvin Hagler – he seems to have an attitude of ‘come one, come all’ and who can complain about that? The fact is that at his absolute elite level, the finest margins decide fights. If United and Chelsea play each other 10 times the results would be split. It’s the same in boxing. But let’s not forget his stunning victories against Maidana, Zab Judah and Paulie Malignaggi. And for those willing to write him – let’s see where he is 12 months from now.
its gonna be hard for him to be slick. that would change his whole fighting style. but, emmanuel or someone like that can teach him a thing or 2 about defense
I also noticed khan got a little but of ice on the back of his neck after the KD in the 3rd and sum water! No one was working frantically they were chilled as **** Maybe Garcia Knocked their asses down too lol
