Two things that would make Khan a better fightier is 1) Defend against punches, and 2) Slow down on offense. He seems to be more restrained. This is good for him.
I wouldn't go that far. He has to prove more than beating Molina.. Molina is a good tuneup, but not a world class fighter.
When Khan beat Salita who I consider to be one of the best pound for pound fighters ever, I knew he was special.
Round 2 Molina catches Khan with a left hook. Khan flurrying but not being accurate at all. Nice left from Khan. Molina trying to get inside . Jab to body of khan. Left to body of Khan after a flurryly. Molina stationary trying to get inside. Right to body and then to head from Khan. Molina following Khan instead of cutting off the ring. Left from Khan hard counter right from Molina buckles Khan's legs. Big left hook from Molina. Khan responds with a jab and right. Big counter right from Molina. Counter left from mOlina. Khan flurrying but not landing. 10 - 9 molina 19 - 19 even
Round 2 Molina is putting in some body shots up close, but Khan is circling wide and jabbing him in the head. Long body shots by Khan. Quick combos by Khan on the outside. Double hook by Khan. Right hand by Molina freezes him in his tracks! Khan jabs at him. Molina pressures. Slapping hooks up top by Khan. Left hook by Molina. Khan throws a sharp 1-2. Molina walks in and lands a big overhand right to the jaw while dropping his head over to the left, JMM-esque. It doesn't put Khan to sleep, though. It barely stuns him. 10-9 Khan but much better for Molina. 20-18 Khan
2. Khan composed and throwing short combos, repositioning, and opening up some more. As Paulie notes, "Khan is taking a walk". Molina lands some hooks. Easy round to score, but if Molina can find more ways to land left hook could get interesting. 10-9 Khan, 20-18 Khan
shows moments of the petersen fight Molina taking well and starting to get to him more if Molina doesnt get caught he can win this fight
