Most feather-fisted welterweight doubleheader ever? :think

The foursome have a combined 43 stoppages in 120 matches. That's just barely over ⅓. :scaredas:

Khan - whose power was decent at lightweight, somewhat diminished at 140lbs, and seemingly all but evaporated at welter, yet to record him a stoppage at the weight - has as many stoppages as Algieri (9) and O'Connor (8.) combined - and more than either of them combined with Malignaggi (7).

    22 guaranteed rounds of quick-handed pillow-fighting. :fight

They should round this out with a female bout to increase the odds the Brooklyn faithful get to see a KO.

Khan's a bad matchup for Algieri, that may be a stoppage.

I honestly couldn't give a flying f&^# about Paulie Malignaggi. The ONLY fight I want to see Paulie in is a public execution vs. Pacquiao, as a sentence for all the badstuff he consistently spews about him.

    You wouldn't? :blood

Pacquiao and Provodnikov don't stop Algieri, but freaking Khan does? How's that now?

Maybe I'm wrong but I see Khan liting Algieri up and I don't see Algieri being able to run from Khan like he did from Pacquiao and Provodnikov

A UD is the most likely outcome but I wouldn't be surprised by a stoppage due to a sustained beating

I wonder if the point of this is to set up Khan vs. Malignaggi II? :think

If that is the case I hope Algieri & O'Connor upset the apple cart. It would be hilarious seeing them main event a PBC.

In fairness Khan's only had 2 fights at full welter, and he dropped Collozo in one and Alexander has got an iron chin, who as far as I'm aware only Matthysse has had on the canvas. I also think Khan's power is slightly underrated.

So I wouldn't be suprised if he did stop Algieri after he takes too many punches....I hope he doesn't though because if he harps on about doing something Pacquiao didn't it would be very annoying.
