I see Guerrero as a solid contender, but nothing more.

    Round 9

Guerrero lands an uppercut from the corner as Medina tries to come gunning for him. Medina opens up, big shots and Guerrero slips them and counters with the straight left to the jaw. Medina's gum shield is knocked out and Joe Cortez picks it up, waiting for a break in the action. Guerrero lands several lefts to the mouth before it is satisfactorily slow in Cortez's opinion to call for a halt and put it back in. Guerrero is whipping him with the left hand and hooking the body with his right. Medina gets pushed back by the force of a left hand to the stomach and then spun around as Guerrero holds him by the waist. Guerrero dodges a right hand by stepping quickly to his right, shuffling around to circle him and taunt him with quick straight shots from the hip.

    10-9 Guerrero

    90-80 Guerrero

I think a better excuse can be made for Hearns coming at 145 at the weight in against Leonard. I never heard any story why he went that low. They had some problems with the balance?

Damn. Nice. Hopefully you weren't one of the Detroits who bet their houses on Hearns over Ray Leonard :patsch

    Round 10

Guerrero blocks a 1-2 and pops his right jab into Medina's face. Guerrero is trotting in, flashing his hands out to the body but not sitting on anything too firmly. Medina backs up and slaps with his right. Guerrero stands off, waiting on him. Guerrero pops a right jab. Medina dances off to his left. Guerrero catches him circling with a lead left, grazing. Right jab to the body by Guerrero while ducking a hook. They trade shots in the final ten seconds after the clap. Medina going a bit crazy, but doesn't land anything big.

    10-9 Guerrero

    100-89 Guerrero

Hearns fought brilliantly for 13 rounds and got stopped. Stop it.
