He's actually competed at SMW twice already since being upset by Brewer, and twice scored the TKO over stiffs.

It remains to be seen whether Jose "Stinger" Medina is as much of a stiff as Kliewer and Naugler...or a step up, or down. :think

He held Bronco McKart to a majority decision in a loss...but it was the current well-worn forty-something version of McKart, only a few months ago.

Of course...in a couple of hours we'll know how serious the current version of McKart is, based on how he does against Anthony Mundine... :yep

Thats one of the things I hate about HBO 95% of cards only show 2 fights, No undercard! And like 25-30% only one fight!

Abner Cotto has already fought! :|

For Mandalay Bay ticket holders' eyes only.

Cotto scored an 8th round TKO over Juan Manuel Montiel.

That is actually a stand-up-and-take-notice result for Lil' Abner!!!!

Montiel (no relation whatsoever to Fernando; who does have four brothers who box but all with different names...although Juan has helped himself to borrowing the more famous Montiel's nickname of "Cochulito") is actually much better than his 5-5 record would suggest.

He gave Anthony Crolla absolute hell in a SD loss on the Mayweather vs. Ortiz pre-PPV undercard, and held unbeaten blue chip prospect Carlos Molina to a draw before that.

He has never been stopped...until now.
