he didnt put his gloves up lol he stood there like he was waitin for a job interview and a secretary said "are you ok?" he was like "im ok"(***** voice) one thing i admire about James Kirkland when hes hurt he basically shouts at the ref "IM OK" and sticks his gloves in his face
Nope, but did some deep Twitter combing and it seems to have gone as I suspected...Cuenca pitching a shutout (120-107 on a lot of fans' cards...not due to a knockdown though, Olmedo was docked a point for some foul...I think a late hit...) and it winds up close on two cards. :-( Had it been a remotely close fight in actuality he'd have probably gotten robbed.
What's that stupid little song you were always posting excerpts of? "King KHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN...and he's getting knocked out... KHAAAAAAAAAAAAN glass jaw, no doubt..."
That's why 2 cards were close and one wide... I saw the scores and expected one judge was watching the hot chick on the 2nd row or something :!:
Wow, I didn't realize just how delusional you are as it pertains to Amir Khan, dude you totally rationalized, and completely made parts of this up. Very strange because I normally think of you as a honest poster. But you're way out there with this one homey. Khan's legs were gone, he was out on his feet, Danny Boy would have just kept pounding him with bombs had the fight continued. Khan is a decently skilled, very fast fighter, with a glass chin and heart (not a good combo btw) he isn't however great, and probably never will be. It's cool ( to a certain extent) how passionate of a Khan fan you are, but you're clearly are living in a world of make-believe with this one.
Khan needs to get a new trainer. :verysad Someone who can get through to him to help him fix himself.
Not a boxer but I've come to realize that the refs have several ways of letting a fighter tell them "I'm done" without saying it. By not putting his gloves up Kahn was speaking to the ref.
i love when things get personal and im not involved i can just sit back and laugh, normally im gettin angry and thinkin of new comebacks but today im spectatin :smoke
You guys are delusional, I wrote it a while back on a previews posting, After the Peterson fight it was obvious Khan needed a new trainer. Firing Ariza was not the problem, it was Roach that was supposed to be the one out. Khan needed Floyd Mayweather Sr. in his corner, he needed the defense and proper footwork to fit his style. That fight with Peterson should have been an easy one for Khan but instead he chose to brawl and that cost him just like it did this time.
I actually made a bit of vcoin on that, because Olmedo struck me as kinda limited. Wonder how Cuenca would fare against top flight opposition, given his utter lack of power, but top-flight skill-set (good enough to keep scoring D's over hometown fighters...):think Oh, and WAR GARCIA!!! Made vcash off of him, too, because I didn't see him as being a prohibitive underdog against Khan. :good
