Don't really know. Other poster said no. Kahn wasn't fighting his way back tonight. Sometimes one punch changes a fight. Your energy and snap are gone. Just accept he got careless and paid tonight. It happens in boxing all the time. I think it was the last KD that was a glancing blow. He survived much worse up to that point. He was spent. He gave it his all and ended on his feet still willing to go on.
It reminds me when you are extremely drunk but you don't want the others to notice it you stand like a statue because you know that every move will give you out. Khan was in the same situation. The ref was asking him if he was OK and he was just looking him in the eyes without any logical reaction. If he tried to bounce he was prolly falling dawn. He just had to survive the round probably Garcia punched himself out at the end IMAO
You dont know how it feels to watch somebody lose who you really like man it doesn't feel good at all. Yes I am a Khan-****
I'm still very regretful that we didn't wind up seeing Marquez vs. Cuenca as originally planned (before it morphed into Marquez vs. Fedchenko instead). Not that I think Cuenca would have come close to winning, based on what I've seen of him...but he'd have given Marquez FAR more trouble than Fedchenko did. It also may have benefited him to lose to a great like JMM, in a couple of ways. First, it would have been invaluable in-ring experience against one of the best guys in his weight range and one of the best in the entire sport in the last decade...something Cuenca with his sharp boxing mind could digest and come away from improved by... Second, maybe the matchmaking tactic for him would change from "protect the padded zero" to "Hey, he actually hung in there with Marquez and lasted the distance despite dropping most rounds" (how I think it would have gone) - maybe we can match him up more aggressively and steer him towards whoever the likeliest paper titlist in the division happens to be..."
You are smoking weed right? Bailey gave plenty of chances to Khan. He should have stopped it in at the first Kd when it was obvious Khan was not there, neither did he had legs!!! Then the next round he gets a beating, and I mean a beating to the point where the fight needed to end there and what happens? He gets another chance. Then he gets dropped AGAIN, and the fight is stopped!! What the hell did u wanted 17 kd??? It was obvious that it was not his night and that if the fight continued he was going to get ktfo again!!!! He knew it, roach knew it, bailey knew it. I guess you did not got the memo!!!!
Mayweather Sr. is probably thinking right now "I knew that Roach training style was all wrong for that boy". Mayweather Sr. is the one who should of been training Khan, bring Ariza back and team up with Mayweather Sr. and we will see a whole new ball game from Khan, otherwise he well be starched again like a box inside a "garbage compactor".
every boxing fan has felt that. Just remember that he got paid very well and life is still pretty good for him. He'll be back if he switches trainers.
Woah dude...you've completely lost it, I think you quit posting for the night, and give yourself a chance to cool down. You're burning some bridges here, and bro you are in D E N I A L the ref was on point, Khan was done.
This is just sad. Obviously, King Khan is some 12 year old kid. Go to sleep, bud. You're just making yourself look bad. Go to sleep, and create a new alt in the morning.
