He'll always be susceptible. He doesn't have Wlad's natural advantages (size, physical dimensions over opponents) nor his coachable ones (discipline) that have prevented the chin from becoming an issue during the Steward period.
One of the unaired undercard bouts: (**** you Golden Boy!) [yt]R8lr8EtMhEs[/yt] Still holding out hope that some fan captured the Abner Cotto TKO and uploads it soon.
Agreed. After it was suggested Khan get a new trainer, my first thought was Virgil Hunter. If he could teach Khan how to fight in the pocket, slip punches, and clinch would that be enough? Sadly, with his chin. No.
That's also a lot to take on at this stage. I'm not calling Amir an old dog, but he is a bit past his formative "lump of clay" years as a boxer...and isn't exactly a quick learn.
:thumbsup That whole undercard was basically designed as flattering showcases for prospects, it boggles the mind why GBP wouldn't stream it. Top Rank absolutely slays them when it comes to that - even if the feed quality and production value isn't always great they at least put the minimum effort into letting the fans have a gander at the entire show for big cards. It would drive up traffic to their Ring website, too. (same as it probably does for TR's site)
I don't get why Boxing promoters don't play these if the fight ends really early, or if there is a break between the fights, etc. You have the entire 6 hours of the card. Get your prospects some tv time.
