This would be a very good match. I would expect Khan to use his size and length advantage to outbox Alexander to a decision. However, Alexander is very well schooled with an extensive amateur background and Khan's defense would have to continue to improve to keep the aggressive Alexander at bay.

Not many fighters can **** with Khan's Amateur record.

    3 Junior ABA Titles
    2003 Junior Olympics Gold Medal
    Euro Student Championship Gold Medal
South Korea Won World Junior Lightweight Title

2004 Athens Olympics Khan was Britain's sole representative in the boxing category and won Silver Medal at the age of just 17.

It depends. Would the fight be in Manchester, with three uncles of Khan being the judges ? Then Khan wins, running and clinching the entire fight rallying on Alexanders gloves without the need to really hit him, with a 139:95 verdict (12-point must-give-every-round-to-Khan system). Otherwise he doesn't.

What a surprise, people jump on the Alexander bandwagon just as fast as they jumped off the burning Ortiz wooden tram. Most picked Witter to win or never even heard of Alexander before, but after a rather awkward win vs. a horrible/old/quitter Witter, he's gonna beat an already tested and proven Khan? :huh

Seriously, Alexander, just like Khan, is skilled, fast and still in developement, so his future is bright at 22, but so far Khan showed better overall skills, faster hands, busier workrate and ever improving defense vs. better opposition than a surprisingly weak and wild Witter or another veteran in DeMarcus Corley. Khan by UD, but there are still question marks around Devon like chin or stamina, so who knows.

Good news is: there's no reason to rush, if both continue to impress, this fight can be pretty big in 2 or 3 years, when they'll still be just 25. It's good to have another young champion in this weight neighbourhood, the future is pretty bright with these youngsters (Maidana, Bradley, Peterson, Ortiz).

Khan spanks him. Alexander is good, but Khan would be fighting off the back foot all night and using his massive reach advantage, and Alexander isn't particularly comfortable chasing from what I've seen of him. Khan won't just stand there to be hit like Witter did.

Khan is very vulnerable to forward-moving brawlers and big punchers, but that isn't Alexander.

Wasn't impressed with Alexander, I'd probably favour Khan to outbox him and win a decision.

Alexander basically looked like a poor Tim Bradley.
