One of the better one-sided fights you'll see.

You better be if you have zero defense.

Ramirez's heart is too big for his own good, his corner needs to step in and save him here.

First time I've watched Mares live.

I can see why the hype was around him before he lost.
    Dynamite. With a poor chin.

What perfect timing for the Mares match to come to an end.

His chin is excellent. His defense is poor.

Jhonny Gonzalez is and has always been an elite puncher.

I'm still stunned at the lack of low blows.

He had the 4 punch combo after the ref repeatedly called for a break, but other than that I am quite impressed with Mares' lack of dirty fighting. He's almost relinquished his throne as P4P Dirtiest Fighter going in the game...

He's exciting though and has a quality resume, I give him that.

That said I wouldn't pick Mares over any of the top 5-6 fighters at 126. I actually fancy Mares vs. Gradovich as being a potentially classic war.

Thurman vs. Bundu or Herrera vs. Benavidez? :think

    Tough one.

Gonzales was damaging him in there, somebody with power will knock him out.
If he turns his style more defensive, not taking as much damage I think he'll go far.

Being too aggressive will leave him open for some brutal knock-out in the future.
    Great to watch though.
8 hit combos, don't see them too often.
