Khan has never fought anyone like Mayweather. All "boxers" aren't interchangeable.

And floyd has never fought any1 like Khan. There is a reason why most boxing pundits and ex boxers believe Khan beats mayweather, his style is a nightmare for floyd at this stage of his career.

    Group think, plain and simple.

Everyone keeps harping about what a stylistic nightmare he is but when pressed individually nobody is able to come up with anything other than "err... Khan's really fast!"

...and to avoid straw-man accusations, yes, I realize that some more intelligent observers have indeed come up more in-depth 'reasons', like Khan's height and reach and rate of activity - but none of these have ever proven troublesome for Mayweather before, so I'm not sure where people are seeing the nightmare coalesce from all these disparate elements.

If anything, Mayweather with his defense & timing is the nightmare for an energy-waster and sometimes reckless lunging type such as Khan (though granted in recent fights these weaknesses have abated somewhat...)

I challenge people to come up with reasons why Khan troubles and/or beats Floyd WITHOUT mentioning Khan's speed.

I bet they can't do it.

This once again shows that some people don't know the difference between style and attributes.

I've also heard about Khan's jab. Khan's jab is decent at best.

Then they talk about his power. Please, Floyd has fought MUCH harder punchers than Khan. Let's not act like Khan is the 2nd coming of Julian Jackson.

Finally, they talk about Khan's reach. In reality, Floyd is the one with the longer reach. And even though he had the longer reach, Khan still lunged at times against Alexander.

come on man this is just stupid the speed is the key reason why floyd will find it difficult, why would you make an arguement leaving out his best assest? take something like that out of anyone and its just a different fighter your talking about really, hes an awkard styled fighter even though hes becoming a bit more refined now, the thing that people see is in the exchanges khan will just throw fast enough combinations to outland floyd and with floyds style who wont throw with khan with bad intention, he probably wont settle with losing exchanges and forcing a fight or just loading up on one big shot. Yeah mayweather good enough to adapt and hell get some good succes counter punching but he'll need to hurt khan and floyds power is dimishing, khan is also tougher inside now and could be the pyhcially stronger man and could bully floyd if it needs to be done, he'll have more stamina and il be desperate for the win if hes behind if he fights rekless he has the ability to make something happen, that said he isnt as good a runner now and i use to think he could coast a bit if he was ahead now hell have to pace himself more. the other thing is floyd i thought looked bad against maidana his movement looked sloppy at times and he just wasnt as sharp, i think a few guys have him now, khan and pac being the best to take advantage

the shoulder roll stuff wont work when khan lunginging in throwing 6 shots at lighting pace falling into a clinch, he might dodge them but he wont be able to throw back , if hes not hurting khan badly he will be in for a hard night
