If this fight goes forward then I can see it turn out just like Khan vs Barrera, looking at the differences between their stats, records, age etc.

 

Soto by stoppage

 

Good name to try & pad the record with, Soto has a good pedigree & name value.
Khan can look good against him & even take some chances because Soto's punching power above 130lbs has never been the same. (Didn't carry well)

That said... The one thing that makes Khan fights exciting are his ??? Marks.

Coming from a guy who has got Garcia, Broner and Gamboa in his 'Team'? :rofl

Khan's fought the best at 140, bar Matthysse, and he's only just lost two fights and is on his way back. And Soto is in no way a joke fight. He's a strong fighter.

 

Soto fought very impressively and seemed to have good power against Matthysse.

 

I hope Soto can pull out the W, but I think Khan can hit him often enough to perhaps force a late stoppage.

If Soto can cope with Khans hand speed then this fight could be very interesting.

 

Soto is a decent fighter, he even managed to buzz Mattysse pretty badly in the early stages of their fight and bagged a round or two before being stopped... this is an ok fight for a guy that hasn't even been with his new trainer for 6 months yet, and who was knocked out brutally only 1 fight ago.

 

Khan better stop Soto before he gasses out and starts getting tagged left and right, though...

 

terrible fight, i thought he was only havin one tune up not two
after he looks good against and old man Soto who shouldnt be fightin at the weight people gonna think he gives good fighters trouble again

 

good choice for khan. if he cant beat soto, call it a day

Back of the bus Khan

 

He seemed to have a pretty good engine against Molina, granted Carlos was pretty **** and wasn't really doing anything to stifle him much... but he was throwing fast combinations consistently until the stoppage, and didn't seem particularly fatigued despite the pace he set. He's still really open at times though, which is troublesome.
