he could easily have just sat out till end of year and then took on maidana. **** toney used to take a saty busy fight every month and he got no criticism. hatton took on lazcano and got no criticism. look at briggs last two stay busy opponents.

at least he is fighting a guy who can end a fight with one punch.

im not being delusional btw, ofcourse i expect khan to steamroll casa, of course i dont expect him to get any credit, but it is surely better than nothing at all.

Its a keep busy fight, although he could have got a better fighter in.

 

casamayor is ****ing ancient. I mean atleast when JMM fought him he was a guy moving up from 130 to 135 so you could say he was the smaller dude.

But kahn is younger, bigger and the guy is shot, that is so pointless, but its continuing their strategy of trying to build him but not put him in with anyone dangerous. Casa is a big name and it will sell but damn there has to be someone else out there

This is precisely the kind of thing fighters do that only gets credit for from his fans. Like Hamed did and like Floyd is doing now, he'll fight guys like this, then years down the road when his fans are trying to argue his greatness, they'll say "He beat xx number of world champions". And they'll leave out the fact that all those guys were either nobody belt holders, way past their primes or moving up from smaller weights. Or in this case, both of the last two.
