Atta boy Floyd! Pick on a 38 year-old!

Khan can't pick any of the top 3 dogs anyway. They all have fights and Khan's fighting with 6 weeks prep. Khan wouldn't even have to fight this early but he wants to due to Ramadan then wants a break.

Although it is a bad matchup. Can't argue with it. But as a 'stay busy' fight..

I don't give a **** how much of a twat he is. Like you said, it doesn't affect me. It just means that I won't be a fan of his if he keeps acting like this, and that is how many others feel also. But you can't seem to handle that and call them "haters" for not liking someone who has an unlikable personality. My problem isn't with Khan, it's with you, who feels the need to insult everyone for disliking (on very valid grounds) Khan.

Amir Khan is fighting Joel Casamayor who is "almost 40" and "moving up in weight"? Powder puncher then a has been?

Casamayor is one of the best Cuban fighters in history but he’s old and shot. If Joel was in his prime Khan's team wouldn't touch this. They will market this well because Casamayor sparked Katsidis but it was a “one off” and “lucky” go home punch, when he was nine rounds behind.

Another great fighter being sacrificed. Makes me f*ckin sick!

no, paulie was one of the big boys. just come off a career best victory.

he beat the champ, then had his mandatory. he then fought paulie who was prob in everyone's top 10 list. now it's a tune up fight against casamyor (better than not fighting) hopefully maidana will have the balls to acept his challenge

No the only thing I didn't handle is you accusing me of pulling the race card when I don't even like bringing such things into the sport. It's discusting. That's when I get offended.

And seriously, I have no problem with a person criticising but when people say "this guy is a complete ****" etc etc. For what reason would a person say that? Just from that and other comments floating around here you can tell that is just personal hate and a lot of people have been exposed on that level. Why not just give a valid reason why it's not a good idea?

If you can actually show me a valid ground statement I have hated on then please show me.

People have opinions, and so do I. That's why this forum exists, to debate on what people agree/disagree on. I'm not going to lie, I am biased purely because I like Khan more than a lot of boxers but that's just how it is.

This is it, even if he loses to every elite guy at 140, he will gain the respect of all boxings fans for getting into the ring with them.

He fought once already at 140 pounds. He's carried the weight well.

And nine rounds behind? Please talk facts..
judge: Alejandro Rochin Mapula 85-82 | judge: Marty Denkin 83-84 | judge: John Stewart 83-84 ~

Not that's it's a good matchup at all, it's bad and doesn't look good and it won't really get the guy much credibility but fighting after 2 months as a tune up, it doesn't really bother me as a fan.

Lazarus probably had never heard of Joel before this week. His life revolves around Amir Khan. He is a fan of no other fighter, every post on this forum is about Khan. Khan can do nothing wrong in Lazarus' eyes.

Casamayor is old and doesn't have much left anymore and Khan will be much bigger than him on fight night. So, Casamayor might give a good effort but he has little chance. I would expect Khan to ko the old guy. Being this could be on the JMM-Diaz ppv then I think this could be a move to match Khan up with the winner of that fight.
