now katsidis has got knocked out and khans on path to get a WBO shot before the end of the year!! how do you think he would do against Joel casammayor.. I think khan is a lot better fighter and has a lot better boxing skills than katsidis!!

    its another Amir khan thread!!!!!

but its a poll though so just vote if you dont like khan, its a potentiall fight so its a worth while thread i think...

I think even at the advanced stage in his career that Casamayor is he is still to good for Khan.

I could see Casamayor stopping Khan in around 8 or 9 rounds.

Casa easily. I see him stopping Khan with a few well timed counters if Khan decides to go for it (think the Limond fight) or just winning every round if Khan fights like he did against St Clair. Khan will NOT fight Casamayor.

yep, he'd learn how much less a Frank Warren boxer with an L on his record earns.

Khan could not beat Casamayors sister Julie let alone Joel.

We all know what will happen as soon as Cas hit 42 Khan will start calling him out. Then (like Khan did in the that farcical Kindelan setup) he will boast about how he beat a great fighter.

casa will have too much at this stage
but if he delays it maybe
i think khan should wait another 2 year 2 fight 4 a title
but make sure hes beating top 10 opponents

Nah, Khan is far superior to Katsidis in virtually every department but power. The only reason that fight was even remotely competetive is because Casamayor is old as ****, and not far off being a shot fighter. Katsidis defence is far worse than Khan's. FAR worse. Infact I'd go as far as to say the worst defence in top level boxing. He has no jab to speak of. He barges his way in and wings in with wide shots. He's a beefed up club fighter

That's not to say Khan would beat Casamayor, Campbell or Diaz, but he's a better fighter than Katsidis.

Khan outworks him for a UD, Casa is too old and won't have the stamina to go with Khan. Khan's reach and height will mean he can keep it on the inside darting in and out while playing it safe. Many had Cruz beating Casa, Katsidis was up on points and Khan has more tools than these 2 to bother the aging Casa. Khan is also massive at the weight

If Khan is going to be world class, which chin provailing he will be, he should be able to beat an old Casamayor.
The guy is 36, that's ancient at lightweight. He fought once last year and looked average, and he just beat one of the most overrated punchers in recent memory (Katsidis warred with Graham Earl and became a name ).

If Khan is going to be anything, I'd bloody hope he could beat Casamayor at this point.:smooch
