Based on what? Khan does not have one K.O. on his record.

theres a lot of ****in idiots on this forum, overnight casamayor has gone from the faded old man who won a controversial decision to Santa cruz to some phenom at 135, Katsidis comes foward, it doesnt take long to figure out his style,
even after 16 fights its still hard to judge how well khan can don on the world scene
i'd like to see khan in step it up before i make a vote, but right now, i'd favour casamayor by late KO only because of experience against world class opponents.

casamayor at prime would beat current khan
el cepillo now will be in a tough tough fight..he is an old man....that khan would probably win.
katsidis is nothing special outside his punch power...he was an average amateur, and has beat no-one as a pro....his best win being that he laid out graham earl having been put on funny street himself.
The fact that he gave casamayor as many problems as he did just shows to me how far casa has fallen....he needs to retire, he cant pull off those performances like he did against chico, and campbell.
Katsidis is open using his face as a defence. He will be gatti'd in 2 yrs.

having said all that....katsidis is an exciting fighter to watch who is all heart and i would rather watch him than loads of more talented boxers.

    Amen.

Many people think that because Casamayor won he is suddenly back at his best, and because it was close Katsidis is good. Flawed thinking.

everyone thinks casa is soo good now that he beat the mighty katsidis!!

lol, ive never rated katsidis.. i think his style is boring, hes got a good attitude towards boxing, and hes a proud fighter, but he hasnt really got much talent in the ring.. he is a tough club fighter..

khan would be to good for casa Olympic style

Micheal Nunn must have hit harder then Chris Pyatt, Steve Collins, Mike McCallum and Iran Barkley then. Your posts get better everyday.

Casamayor beats Amir Khan. In fact there is no easy route for mair to take to get a world belt right now. I dont think he is ready for a title shot any time soon anyways. Stick him in with Romanov, then we will see what stage he is at.

Casa is one World class Cuban who Warren cant bribe... :D

    Casa TKO 6 Khan.

Anybody can look on boxrec and point out obvious facts. I was hoping you could offer some reasoning behind your post. Never mind.

The people who are calling Katsidis are out of order, he stepped up to the plate and he has a great attitude. Remember he was slated to fight Guzman and Diaz!! So he is obviously shying away from no one!

And granted he may be somewhat crude but will Khan have the power to keep him off? I dont rate Khan as a puncher, he hits hard yes, but not with 1 punch ko power. Apart from Willie Limond and Graham Earl he has yet to stop anyone of note. And finally we know Katsidis can take a punch but would Khan be able to take his?

hold on how do we know katsidis can take a punch?

he got put down by earl, he got laid out by casa.....the last time casa knocked anyone out was like 5 yrs ago. casamayor is not a big puncher.

that to me proves katsidis has a shite defence and can be tagged and put down by a half decent shot.

and jc......i assume you were joking about the bribing.....super mario is simply twice the man and fighter joel casamayor is, was and ever will be.

wot i dont understand m8, how many romanov and earl fights have i seen???.. ive seen enough of them to know amir khan would win quite easily..

theres different levels of boxing, and amir is the highest level that you can get to?? only joking, Amir is definitely a different class to romanov, maybe it would be an interesting fight, but i dont think so....

lol??????????dont you like new people coming on these forums and giving opinions.. ive read a couple of threads posted by new users and its like they get upset..., like "" what do you know ure just a new user we are ESB members( so we must know more about boxing)

chill out, its one post.. and its a reasonable post considering khan was due to fight katsidis..

what makes it a "rubbish post??
