He got put down twice off Casa and got up imediately. The finishing shot he walked right onto, well he ran right on to. I would say his chin is fine....if it wasnt with his style of fighting he would have been stopped by now (prior to this fight).

 

Never seen Romanov fight then :yep BTW Romanov really beat Earl

 

Being new does not mean anything regarding quality of posting. Some people here have thousands of posts, yet still post rubbish.
The reason I thought your post was substandard was because your opinion seems like it was formed by browsing boxrec, rather than what you have seen for yourself. Khan beat Earl, who beat Romanov, so Khan must be better than Romanov.
Graham Earl used to be a decent enough fighter, and boxed superbly to beat a rusty Romanov, who some people thought won that fight. If you saw that fight yourself then you would not dismiss Romanov as easily beaten by Khan.
BTW, Khan was never due to fight Katsidis, it was all hype.

Khan is a big time gobshite *****. FW knows that as soon as he steps up he will get found so the FW solution is to put him in with smaller guys. The British public buy into all this Khan hype on the basis of his Olympic silver and the FW fixed Kindelan fight.

 

To be honest he did look **** against Zoff who is well past his best.

 

Is that it? You've formed an opinion of Romanov from that? I knew I was right when I said you had not seen any of his fights. I suppose all you've seen of Graham Earl is the Khan fight, and maybe the Katsidis fight at a push.
It's a shame you never saw any of Romanov's fights, if you had, you might have a different opinion of him.

 

That's still not enough to judge him.

 

but casa is no great puncher...he always relied on his excellent boxing skills to beat you. Skills which have visibly diminished with age.....look at him and compare with his earlier self.

who would have beaten him...he's only fought two fighters who have any kind of reputation (and neither as big big punchers) and been floored by both......i'm as convinced with katsidis's chin a i am with Khans.....i.e. not very:deal

 

It's a definite possibility. Khan would no doubt have his successes, but I'm not confident he would fare so well when Romanov starts finding his range. Romanov punches harder than anybody Khan has ever faced, and is accurate with it.
If FW thought Khan could beat Romanov, then the fight would have been made by now. Even though he looked poor in his last fight, he is still far too much of a risk.

 

I'd favour him over Khan anyway , that straight right-hand would cause Khan nightmares .
