This. There's levels to boxing and Linares on his best day is levels below Khan on his worst day. Also, Linares not being able to punch and being even less durable than Khan himself makes it a walkover for Khan.

Linares is more intelligent than khan doesn't brawl he also has a better chin he is as fast and has better foot work IMO.Khan is the bigger guy but at catch weight it would be a great fight

If we are going prime for prime, say Khan from around Kotelnik to Peterson v Linares from the last few years then that's about as nearest as we are getting to them being the same weight.

I think Khan beats him, probably late stoppage. Khan was good under Roach at first, fought more disciplined, through a lot of punches and his chin wasn't completely wrecked (he stood up to Chinos best shots, even if by a whisker) and had more pop down at 147.

Linares is a very similar fighter which is off no surprise since he spent years at the Wildcard at the same time as Khan, has very similar pros and flaws. Linares is a better overall boxer and he would take rounds of Khan but ultimately I think Khan is too big and grind Linares down, bust him.up and take a late stoppage or see out a decision.

Khan is shot to bits now so it's pointless.comoaring this version who struggles to make 147 anyway but as near to prime to prime I think Khan takes it.

Linares got stopped by Loma so why even bring that up as some sort of victory.

Everything else are assumptions. Linares would have beaten those 8 guys... yet hasn’t beaten anyone as good as those 8 guys. And the only loss MAB has at LW is vs Khan so how can you assume MAB can’t beat linares at LW? Not like he lost to some bums there. MAB weren’t great at that weight but would have probably still beat everyone linares beat.

I’ll tell you this, Khan wouldn’t have lost to Thompson, Salgado or demarco.

Really compare his 3 losses vs khans 3 losses (Canelo, dsg and Prescott). Both in wins and losses khan >>> linares.

Linares is flash but he doesn’t have much. And at 135-140, khan has more pop than him. Linares ain’t dropping maidana.

Simple logic, when has khan ever been outboxed? Because linares don’t have Canelo, dsg, Prescott power. So he ain’t knocking him out. So his only choice is to outbox him. When has khan been outboxed?

The guy is a silver medalist who beat Mario kindelan and has range. He has serious boxing skills. His weakness which is chin is not exposed vs linares.

TBF you can say the same for Linares. Once v Lomachenko and Khan has never fought anyone as skilled as Lomachenko either so it's a fairly moot point.

Khan wins because he's bigger , not because he's better. Linares would even have trouble against Sammy Vargas ffs.
He's not a WW. He's not even proven anything at JWW.

As long as Linares was able to sneeze, he'd get the stoppage...

I brought it up because he decked Loma and fought so well against an awesome opponent, Khan`s never even come close to that.

Joff Horn would rip Linares in half. Eubanks Jr would beat Terry Crawford

Linares is far better defensively than Khan was, better head movement and active guard.

C’mon man. Do you think linares would have lasted 6 rounds vs Canelo? Do u think he would have beaten maidana? Heck not even sure if he would have beaten Alexander or algeiri. I think algeiri would outbox him with his range.

Until linares beats at least a B level fight, or even a C+, you can’t really put him at this level. The guy went life and death with Campbell....
