i think khan wins comfortably... i think hes got all the tools needed to win the fight, after mayweather eases past JMM, and khan wins a few big fights in style it wont be a silly prediction that khan would hold his own...

statistics say JMM kills him every time... because of his reputation and achievements, JMM is a great fighter, id back him against most of the 140 division!! people like ortiz, maidana.. etc..

but i'd back khan all day long.. i think khans a special talent, with exceptional skills... the way he fought last night was world class.. if he fought like that against JMM who ain't as aggressive, doesn't like chasing the fight, and cant deal with speed and long range boxing... JMM loves a tear up, and amir khan wouldn't give him one, JMM might adapt, but i think khan could handle whatever JMM threw at him.. i think it'd be like the KOtelnik fight, just Amir actually stopping marquez!!

call me a **** all you like, amir khans soo underrated its untrue..

the boy is up there with the best in the world, if he was American god knows how much respect he would have... its only now his true potential is coming out, under freddy roach

some fights khan will get steamrolled and destroyed, but some fights he'll shine...

Your forgetting that Marquez has not got the best defense and although he is an elite level fighter I would say that Kotelnik displayed a very good tight defense for 12 rounds but with Khan's hand speed he could definitely offset Marquez but the danger comes for Khan after 8 rounds because from rounds 9 to 12 Khan looked a bit worst for wear and if someone can drag Khan into deep waters and drown him it will be Marquez. Marquez is too smart for him at this moment in time but Khan could pull it off, Marquez is tailoring down now he has been in too many shoot outs

What the f*ck is wrong with you d1ckheads who label those who think differently from you as noobs or whatever the "cool" word for the f*cking day is? Grow the f*ck up, you twats.

It's not such a far-fetched idea, you imaginatively-challenged mental adolescents. Marquez has not been tested at 140, for starters. Second, Amir Khan has shown he can stick to a gameplan for most of the fight. He's got the speed and the length to box Marquez. Also, Marquez's chin can be cracked. Relatively light-hitting Juan Diaz had him wobbly early in their fight, I'd hazard Khan hits heavier than Baby Bull. Marquez may have a big big name, but they will have to fight their match in the ring.

    Stop being a noob

Khan has been fighting crumbs where marquez has been fighting greats for a good number of years, JMM is fighting flyod where khan just fought kotelnik, Khan was Ko'd by 114th ranked prescott, Khan doesnt have knockout power most of his stopages come from refs steping in, Khan has been wobbled by numerous opponents of class ability well lower than JMM

look at the last 5 fights of marquez,
    Marco Antonio Barrera W
    Rocky Juarez W
Manny Pacquiao Split decison loss where many had him winning
    Joel Casamayor W Tko 11
    Juan Diaz W Tko 9th

    now look at Khans

    Kotelnik W 12
    Berrera TD 5
    ***an TKO 2
    Prescott loss 1 round
    Micheal Gomez TKo 5

    KHAN will get owned

Khan's looking very impressive right now but.....

JMM the heart and timing on his side, and he's dented the chins of many tough fighters, i have no reason to believe he wouldn't put Khan to sleep, this is a worldclass operator against a masterclass operator

    JMM by KO in 6

I don't think it is silly to think Khan can beat Marquez at this point, and at 140.

Marquez is not getting any younger. He has not fought at 140 while Khan can clearly box, is long, is fast and can crack with his power and just proved he can perform well at 140 (IMO he can still climb to 147 eventually with his size).

The only weakness is the chin, but he has shown in his previous fights some significant improvements that he could build on.

If Khan fought JMM, he would pick him apart over a series of rounds, it would be a schooling on the scale of Calzaghe - Lacy.
