I think they're saving Malignaggi for later, that fight would make good money in the long run with all the hype going on.

I wish Schaefer would stop talking about how people are going to sign contracts within 48 hrs. Marquez needs to take his time and look over the contract carefully. He doesn't need anymore surprises during the weigh in.

I think this is too much for JMM at this stage in the game and Roach knows it and really wants to get another one on JMM with somebody and do some "smart matchmaking" for his boy. But, no guts, no glory. If JMM wins, it's a fourth weight class to pick up a strap in.

i agree with some of you that khan's size will be a big factor. but don't tell me that khan will be able to keep marquez at bay. No disrespect to anyone. but marquez is marquez (even thoufh he's not 100%) and khan is khan. if khan is to win, it has to be the size (that's what i doubt, marquez is not that small).

    again, no disrespect to anyone:good

I'm not big on Khan but my thing with that is, we don't know how good he's going to get. I really doubt we've seen him hit his peak. He's a got a world class trainer that's pushing him to his potential. We've got one guy on the rise and the other guy on the slide who I personally thought was pushing it at lightweight. Not to mention, Freddie has already been studying this guy several times because of Pacquiao's two fights and a possible third and probably also in studying for the potential Pac/May fight.

Does anyone know why Hatton Marquez hasn't been made instead?

    Exactly my thoughts.

But I would rather see JMM fight Ricky Hatton, and have Kahn fight Paulie.

The winner of those two bouts then fight.

Wish this fight was in March, so the Khan hype would be derailed that much sooner and we wouldn't have to hear about how he can kick anyone's ass, including PBF and PacMan. Seriously, this is just stupid.
