Enough already. Fight your mandatory or give up your belt. I agree with a poster that they are hoping that Maidana loses and they can move on. I would like to see Khan vs Maidana and the undercard could be JMM vs Paulie. They winners take each other on.

The idea for GBP right now is to put Khan on a giant card to get his face out there.....where better than Mayweather-Mosley on May 1st?

How many ****ing ppv's are we talking about?

Pac-Clottey, BHop-Jones, Mayweather-?, and now Marquez-Khan?!? All in the first half of 2010! :patsch

Look Marquez-Khan is a fight I'd love to see, and I'm sure it'd be very entertaining, but isn't this reverting back to 2-3 years ago, when every fight worth anything was on PPV?

Neither of these fighters is on a PPV level right now. Khan is unknown to most of America, and JMM is coming off a horribly one-sided loss.

khan should not be on ppv as the main card, he needs about 2-3 big fights as an undercard

then go for a unification fight with bradley on ppv

If Khan went back down to 135 this wouold be good, but that's not gonna happen. Even at 135 Marquez is pushing it. At 140 I don't like his chances too much. We saw what a very limited fighter like Juan Diaz could do to him. He's a tough ****er though so you never know but at 140 I would fancy both Khan and Hatton to beat Marquez. Marquez is much better than that, but we're not gonna see that if he's fighting above 135.

How about they just dump Marquez-Khan and Haye-Ruiz on the undercard of Hopkins-Jones II so people can actually buy the thing?

Its simple. He is a high profile trainer who has a stable of successful fighters, its obvious that the media would show an interest in his opinion and why he would be constantly asked questions that would make him look like he runs his fighters career.
I think for Khan, now he doesnt have Warren, he will practically run his career on what Roach says.

This is still a good fight. With Khan, u never know what to expect. Marquez landed on Mayweather, but, Mayweather is a welter and Marquez is not. Marquez can KO Khan. But, I would love to see Amir put an end to Marquez. The guy should retire already.

6-8 pounds of muscles :lol:? are u Fuking Kidding me dude? Jmm's looked pretty good at 135 ,then when he added 7 pounds to 142 he looked like he was pregnant and thats 7 fukin lbs so how the fuk could he add 6-8 pounds of pure muscles? it was all fat ,

simple math 135 + 7 = 142 if it was muscles h'd look ripped and great as usually ,he didnt, CONCLUSION: the majority of the new weight was FAT! he has no business above 135 and shouldnt take this fight , he's not the kind of weight jumper espiecially at his age.

rofl at khan fans saying marqez couldnt make 135 anymore , its ridicolous

Hey everyone, just cus its my 1st post on here doesn't mean i don't know nothing about boxing before people think i'm a no one.

I think khan vs marquez will make a good fight and definatley generate a lot of interest. I think Marquez will cope at 140 now, after all he might as well get used to it because it would be pointless dropping back down, even to 135. Stay at 140.

JMM looked similar to DLH(overweight) right before the Sturm fight.

Kahn will take a page out of Pac's book and make his legacy mostly off past-prime legends!

this would be a great addition to the mosley/mayweather fight if it indeed does go down.

Wow, this would be a shock. Marquez is still a very formidable opponent.

I highly doubt this actually happens though, not until Marquez gets properly old anyway

i wouldnt exactly call that a warm up, but it is nice every now and then to see a fighter with some balls.
