Pretty meh fight but really not as bad as it will be made out to be. Diaz will give it a go and can punch, plus Khan has fought enough quality opposition that we shouldn't be to harsh on him if he wants to take the long route to rebuilding his career.

Another fight for Khan to get used to Hunter.

    Diaz is a solid fighter.

  5. Khan is a joke. Josesito said they wanted to pull him down to 140 after his last fight was at 154. A mere con!!

As already mentioned, he's already fought quality opposition at a relatively young age, probably too young. If he wants to take a few easier fights while he builds a working relationship with Hunter, he's more than entitled to. Could emerge a much better fighter in the near future.

Yup. It's also a chance for them to take a fight back in the UK - which they really wanted in order to maintain connections with his UK fan base. Hence why a mediocre opponent -- who wouldn't mind traveling -- has been chosen.

Julio diaz is the brother of Tim bradleys trainer who hates Khan. Might be interesting build up. Easy fight for khan though (should be)

Anyone know if Joel diaz trains Julio Diaz??

Julio IMO just beat Porter who is a pretty good fighter not a bad fight for Khans come back this one is a dangerous one everything could go wrong here.

i think julio diaz has the power to seriously hurt khan, i think his height and reach could give khan some problems, when was the last time you saw khan do well against an opponent he didn't have size advantage over? Throughout his career the mans been a speed merchant, he hasn't show immense ingenuity even against the most 1 dimensional opponents such as marcos maidana. If he looks bad here then thinks in the USA could be well and truly over.

Ironic, Pacman had fighters move down in weight to fight him on more than a few occasions? Slanty
