Seems like all good fights were either at 147 or were unavailable. Still there must be an opponent better than Julio Diaz for April 27th. Olusegun perhaps.
diaz might hurt khan and dare i say it knock him over, diaz is a tallish opponent its not khans going to have size advantage as he did over molina. its better the senechko
Yeah, I noticed the twitter call-outs and courageous efforts, some great comedy from Khan as usual. Funny to see people believe that bull****, adds more comedy to how pathetically simple minded some can be.
So you think Khan is bullshitting? Don't you believe that Bradley didn't wanna fight Khan either? lol.
Diaz has been around forever. Im surprised most people here dont know him. Hes fought Manfredy,Castillo,Jesus Chavez,Juan Diaz,Cayo,Njoudgo,Holt and recently drew with Shawn Porter. Hes lost to most of those guys though. If its true, maybe they're just looking for anotehr fight for trainer and fighter to get used to each other.
Or beat up Bradley's gym mate to try and get a message to timmy? "Bradley is like a brother to us" - So diaz might be like a brother to Bradley.
To be completely honest, if Khan would have taken his development 100% seriously from the beginning then he wouldn't need to be rebuilding now and taking fights to 're-calibrate'. I couldn't believe it when he said he never went in the gym between fights. I mean, I don't doubt for a minute that he wants to be the best in the world. So if you really REALLY wanted that you should be in the gym everyday, fight or no fight, working on your game. Training a couple of months a year is when you have a fight coming up.
Not a great fight. Diaz is way past his best, though he looked better than he has lately in his last fight against Porter. Khan should be a big favorite and knock Diaz out. I wouldn't be shocked if GBP is simply looking to keep Khan active in a very winnable fight so he's available for Mayweather this fall.
