Amir Khan vs Julio Diaz.... How Quickly We Forget

Because Floyd is infinitely better than any of the guys you mentioned in pretty much every single way. I personally don't want to see Khan v Floyd, it has got to be Pacman or nothing for Floyd really. Khan is another easy win for Floyd that does nothing to his legacy.

Second fight with Virgil at 143 pounds which he struggled to make. He clearly was in a transition phase here from the roach style to the new style we saw vs Alexander and Collazo. Why are you living in the past, why don't you look at his performance last week.

 

I think Khan gives Mayweather a lot of problems. DSG would stop Khan in a rematch. Khan is still a sucker for the left hook but Floyd doesn't have the power in his left to really hurt Khan.

 

I hope Floyd does take the Khan fight so he can shut the Khan army the **** up, or DSG need to rematch and knock his irrelevant ass out again.

 

Khan only looks good against timid, non punchers who stand off him or shot to **** fighters. Whenever he suffers a loss or s****s through a win he picks these fighters very carefully and everyone jumps back on the bandwagon just like that. There is a definite pattern here and if it unfolds as it usually does Khan is due another starching in his next 2 fights.

 

He looks good against boxers because of his speed. Despite throwing the same punches over and over, it's his speed that makes it difficult for others to avoid him. Take away his speed and he's very basic.

 

Exactly, his speed is a pretty awesome weapon, but it is hard to fathom how a fighter as smart and adaptable as Floyd will not work out how to beat someone as one dimensional as Khan. Sure, Floyd footwork is pretty much gone, but Khan has shoddy footwork himself.

People just really hate Floyd so much, they are desperate for any hero out there to dislodge him. We even have one particularly moronic poster suggesting that Brook and Thurman would KO Khan, but he would school Floyd atsch

go watch holyfield vs bobby czyz and see how bad evander looked against a 5 foot 10 blown up light heavy and couldnt hurt him or even knock him down in 5 rounds. Everyone said he wouldnt last 2 rounds with tyson if thats what he has left at this point.

Um, yes when he fights another fast fighter like Mayweather his speed will be neutralized and taken away. It will be meaningless which the Khan fan boys can't seem to understand. Khan's speed only matters in fights where the handpicked opponent doesn't have any speed :roflatsch

well it wont matter, because mayweather aint gonna fight anyone that isnt at least an 8 or 10 to 1 underdog....anything less than that he could lose....
this is pretty much how mayweather fought his entire career except he is finally the older guy by 8 or 9 years with Khan..... hes finally is old enough where he cant find anymore old as.s broken down fighters with name recognition, they would be 50 now

 

Khan has a great chance vs Floyd style wise. He still has an amateur point scoring style, Floyd is getting old now and has been facing slow fighters recently. Can he go back to his master chess playing? The man is gonna be 38, how much longer you expect him to keep up with young guys? Could be a Leonard vs Norris type fight.

Floyd may do a lot of things better than Khan, but fighting on the way outside is not one of them.
