Agreed. Peterson is a good fight. He never stops trying to win till the last second, but I don't think Khan will be in for a rough night.

This is why we don't get Haye v Wlad? dang!

Peterson will get stopped, Ortiz should have done the job, Khan will.

    He also lost to Vasquez:

Maybe Khan needs to fight Mitchell and Vasquez too because they beat Prescott? :patsch

I do. Peterson can take a punch and recovers quickly. The only knock on Peterson is his ability to adapt, which was shown heavily in the Bradley fight. He did show improvement though in the Ortiz fight, which I give him a lot of credit for because he was fighting a ****ing big WW in the ring, and taking the punishment and setting up traps.

I believe Peterson has the ability to catch Khan by timing him and countering. He is also a very good in fighter, which Khan has shown he isn't. He also has power to hurt Khan, he hurt Bradley and Ortiz at times, either way I'm have to give Khan credit in taking this fight. This is how you build a resume.

i just told you, he knocked amir out and begged for a rematch.

i don't care where peterson is ranked or by whom. i never said khan is cared of prescott. stop hating.

i said he doesn't want the fight when prescott clearly does. IMO peterson is not a more worthy opponent and I call duck.

don't hate on amir, no-one is demanding he takes them fights.

people would have preferred to see him fight prescott over peterson.

    :rofl

You're talking about the man who didn't duck MAIDANA.

Who the hell is Prescott in front of Khan's last opponent, who he BEAT.

Certainly not a bad fight or an inappropriate one. I was just hoping Amir would have elected to play out the tournament scenario that he proposed between Maidana, Bradley, Alexander, and himself before doing anything else.

    :lol::lol:

Khan won't allow Peterson to get inside, which is where Peterson has a clear advantage. Khan will tie him up everytime. Remember, Peterson will be nervous too. He'll be the main event of 20,000 people looking upon him. An experience he will have never experienced.

 Ok mate. Don't really understand how I'm hating though, Lol.

Khan has a glass jaw and it is going to get smashed into a million pieces by Maidana.

On a serious note I like this as a stay busy fight and its good to see Amir fighting in the north-west.

Has there been a lot of buzz about the Bradley-Alexander fight? This is a premature fight which has been made due to rushing.

Nothing bad about Khan taking a homecoming fight while Bradley fights Alexander.

lufcrazy, tell me something, and think about this REAL hard.

In the entire history of boxing, when has the WINNER ever wanted a rematch with the LOSER? :rofl

Prescott knows where he is in his career and where Amir Khan is. Prescott is only relevant today because of Khan, and he's only looking for a cheap payday before Khan goes onto fight Tim Bradley for the unification fight.

listen kid, your just some boxing troll who has a crush on his fighter.

i don't have to justify myself to you, especially with this ABC logic your spouting. you so bravely say who the fuk is prescott in front of a maidana, well peterson drew with ortiz, who the fuk was ortiz infront of maidana? boxing doesn't work like that. who the fuk was khan infront on prescott? a knockout victim.

i respect laz cos i like his contribution to the forum, but i don't even know you.

as i said i don't have to justify **** to you, i will be showing my support on fight night at the m.e.n. not by spouting **** on a forum.

i like khan, i think he's had a very good career to date, doesn't mean i have to lick his arse, and doesn't mean i have to be happy he failed to fight thaxton and rematch prescott.

but you carry on typing away, i'll be there live, will you fanboy?

Louis against Walcott and Schmeling against Louis both come to mind...
