Khan coudln't stop Maidana from getting on the inside, why should I believe he can stop Peterson? Khan doesn't tie up and Freddie Roach doesn't teach his fighters how to tie up.

Peterson fought the biggest guy in the division, in Bradley, then fought the physically biggest guy in the division in Ortiz, and didn't buckle under the pressure but fought gamely until the end. You crowd nonsense doesn't matter, it is only Peterson and Khan inside the ring.

Nice match up Peterson is def lower end top 10 but Khan will be too much for him. Bradley made Peterson look stupid when he boxed on the outside. Khan's bigger and faster and a better outside fighter. Wide UD for Khan but Peterson keeps it respectable and shows he's a good fighter.

by saying khan was scared of prescott :bbb:bbb twas a joke anyways.

like i said, i like amir, i rate him highly (though not as much as i did prior to the maidana fight) and i'll be there fight night. but i still say prescott was the tougher more meaningful fight, one i actually think he'd lose tbh.

Awwww, want a nappy, or maybe a tissue?

You want to ignore the facts and keep Prescott relevant even though his career is all but over. Go watch some curling instead :hi:

@ SweetBama, it will be an interesting fight, but:

    A. If Khan can knockdown Maidana, he can also knockdown Peterson
    B. If Maidana can't knockdown Khan, then Peterson can't knockdown Khan

Let's stop living in a world where all of Khan's opponents all of a suddenly become the heaviest hitters in the division. I mean, there were people saying Salita was going to expose Khan's chin :rofl

see, a troll who can't debate boxing and doesn't even watch boxing.

what facts am i ignoring? prescott tko1 khan?

i don't want to keep prescott relevant you newbie, there are plenty of better fights out there. i am saying it would be more relevant than peterson.

why would i watch some curling?

why do i bother with idiots like you?

again will you be showing your support on fight night?

M8, I found out all I wanted about you when you said Prescott deserved the fight more than Peterson.

Peterson is coming off of drawing a match with on one of the best fighters in the 140lb division, and someone who knocked down Maidana TWICE. While Prescott has failed twice against world class opponents and is now fighting BUMs.

It's like saying Pacquiao should fight Singsurat over Mayweather :hi:

Louis wanted a rematch because he knew he lost and was a real man and a real fighter and wanted to truely beat Walcott.

Schmeling matched a rematch because Louis went on to become the undisputed champion.

Mayweather prob had the same reasons as Louis did.

Lewis had to take Rahman to court to get a rematch. Rahman wanted no parts of Lewis he wanted to fight Tyson. Everyone knows that.:patsch

RJJ vs Bhop???? Doubt either guy realllllllyyyyy wanted a rematch plus Hopkins went on to become the undisputed Middleweight champion of the world.

All those rematches actually had meaning and reason for it happening.

Presscott has done nothinggggg in his career before or after Khan except lose twice to fighters not close to Khan's level. If Prescott wants a rematch he should actually beat someone except living off the Khan win.

Does anyone want to see Wlad vs Purrity 2? Wlad vs Sanders 2? Did anyone care or want to see Wlad vs Brewster 2? No. Wlad took a lot of **** for taking that fight.

Does anyone want to see Glen Johnson vs Omar Sheika 2??

Vitaly Klitschko vs Chris Byrd 2?

peterson has failed twice against world class opposition. the difference being, peterson never sparked amir khan.

you get your facts from boxrec and basically chat ****. you won't be going to watch the fighter you so vehemently defend, yet a "hater" like me who thinks prescott would have been a better fight is going.

if you think drawing with ortiz warrants a shot more than knocking out the champ, then that's your opinion. just try not shitting on other people's.

my very first post said if you think peterson is better, agree to disagree, you couldn't do that because you're a troll.

i hope one day the moderation improves to the point where trolls like you get instantly banned.

i expect khan to shut out peterson, or win by atleast 8 rounds. peterson has shown nothing to suggest to me he could beat khan. prescott on the other hand has, which is why i would rather see it.

CASH, Khan will have moved on to 147 and some people will be talking about Prescott.

Which, I actually don't mind, people are entitled to their opinion. But if you do want to talk about it, be prepared for the consequences. The most ignorant statement in boxing:

"I don't care what his record is !"

And that's where most of us stop reading you ignorant twat :happy

Do you really believe that, at this stage in Khan's career, a fighter like Prescott will knockout Khan? :patsch

them fights happened a long time ago. this fight didn't. and he didn't take much **** for rematching brewster.

i just don't see how peterson is gonna present more of a challenge than prescott.
