I've always l;iked Khan and disagree with the arrogance claims.

however his bitching and whinging and robbing peterson of the credit / glory he deserved has irritated me to the extent I hope peterson wins.

 

He is a bit arrogant though or is that just him being stupid again? its hard to tell, The man has no respect and is deluded, probably one of the most unlikable boxers of the modern era, he's right up there with Mayweather and Degale imo.

 

From the Oxford Dictionary:

I can see your point of view Laz and maybe your right, I want to like Khan this is what frustrates me with him, just be humble, accept defeat and prove the doubters wrong in the ring, which I will add, for all of his stylistics faults he has certain abilities that make him a good fighter.
I do think he has a certain amount of arrogance because he can not accept certain things? that's not down to his intelligence that's his own choice.

 

Khan is even more arrogant when he's away from the cameras.

Who knows what Khan is like away from the cameras. We've heard stories, but all that could be nonsense. On camera he comes across no more arrogant or smug than most other boxers. In fact he seems like an approachable, friendly, if a little bit thick young lad.

 

Most of the stories I've heard aren't even close to what I know is true.

I don't have an agenda against Khan or anything. It's a mile off to suggest he's not arrogant though.

 

Peterson looks alot bigger man, bull**** khan struggles to make 140, he walks around less than 150.

 

I bet you Khan finishes this fella off pretty easy. He won the last fight and got robbed by some one of the worst refs I have seen in ages. He didn't help himself by over bitching but he's a better fighter

I don't think Khan is necessarily arrogant, I think he flits between being a bit thick and making arrogant statements.

Some of the stuff he says about money and stuff, smacks of arrogance, but then the ''all I want is a neutral referee'' stuff is just signs of a deluded clown who's in denial.

I like Sky's angle though, peddling it as ''poor little Amir who was robbed'', akin to an old lady mugged for her fish supper outside her front door.

Khan fan boys will defend him no matter what ...

My humble opinion is Khan's over hyped career will reach a anti climax ending within a couple of years.

His career is littered with over the hill names, big punchers who cannot box and good boxers who cannot punch ..

Even one of his better wins against Maidana has been made to look distinctly average after Maidana's performances since then.

He can look great for 5 or 6 rounds and then he basically goes on the back foot for the rest of the fight and hangs on half the time ..

I think Peterson will be even better and more confident going into this second fight and i expect him to pressure Khan much earlier this time.

If Khan wins and moves upto 147 then his career is going to fall smack bang on his face the first time he meets a decent fighter.
