Coincidence. Zab Judah can whack hard, really hard when he goes for it, and was coming off a brutal KO win when he fought Khan only a few months ago.

Read the threads leading up to the fight, a surprising amount of people were picking Judah by T/KO, and a LOT of people were saying he hit harder than Maidana due to his superior technique. Funny how that gets forgotten now that he got destroyed by Khan.

Khan can be such a prat at times, "Peterson will be getting hurt" what kind of bollocks is that. For a start, such statements will only alienate the neutral so he's damaging his own reputation. When has Khan really ever hurt anybody? Lastly, as if Peterson with the life he's had is going to be intimidated by Amir 'King' Khan :patsch

Khan really does needs a PR consultant on the team with a bunch of cue cards on hand if he's ever asked to express an opinion on something..... What a spanner, that's it come on Lamont :bbb

Marcos's KO percentage doesn't really count lol. He doesn't fight top 10 opponents. No wonder his KO ratio is high. And what has he done since he lost to Khan? He's been fighting nobody's rated 40th and if we believe 'news' been ducking fighters. Plus it's not like Marcos doesn't get dropped by his opponents he gets dropped in every other fight.

Yeah DUDE alot of peeps here polled Judah to KO Khan

In all fairness that headline was used out of context a little. Khan was talking about how Peterson likes to come forward and pressure, and if he does he'll be "walking on to all my punches, and getting hurt", which I think is pretty accurate considering Peterson's defence isn't exactly the best :conf

Funny how people get butt hurt over trivial comments. So Khan is not allowed to say he's going to hurt his opponent?

I think Amir has Multiple personality disorder.... sometimes he acts good and sometimes bad. He contradicts alot like Victor Ortiz. Young fighters these days LOL. Atleast Manny has the same answer; talk to my promoter and or i want to put on a good fight for the fans. I've seen and linked most of the Khan interviews and he says different things to different networks (US/UK based) he isn't consistent with his statements imo.

But talk is to sell the fight i guess it's already sold out lets see if he can exceed our expectations tommorow. Lamont could easily snatch them titles.

Really, Khan strikes you as imtimidating? :rofl Amir comes across about as threatening as big bird from Sesame Street :patsch I like Khan as a fighter & despite his flaws and under Roach he has the potential to become one of the U.K.'s best ever boxers, behind Lennox but he really needs to think a bit before opening his mouth. He just spouts utter nonsense sometimes.

Where did I say that? :huh

Khan is not trying to intimidate Peterson. He said Peterson is going to walk into his punches and would get hurt in doing so. There is nothing stupid about that, in fact anyone who dismisses that is stupid. Khan has said some stupid things in the past but this ain't one of them :good

The heck are you talking about?

h13vyy said "So Khan is not allowed to say he's going to hurt his opponent?", and from that you think he's claiming Khan to be intimidating? :huh

Also, as DUUUUUUUDE pointed out, the "Peterson will be getting hurt" comment/title has just been taken out of context. All he said was, that if Peterson's looking to be aggressive and moving forward, he'll be walking on to all of his punches and getting hurt, because he [Khan] will be looking to use angles, etc. That, according to you, is a load of bollocks and Khan's a prat for saying it?

You didn't even watch the video, did you?

Not really. Since he's been in America apart from the Paulie fight all the other fights have posed some threat to him.

It's ironic how Marcos couldn't KO Khan. It just shows how much he has improved since the Pressy fight

Maybe it's because there haven't been that many notable and decent opponents around with a 60% plus KO record for him to have fought since rebounding from that loss. Maidana was the only one, and he got by him. Judah was another good puncher, and he's now eyeing up Berto/Ortiz for when he moves up.

Besides, the KO percentage of a fighter isn't the complete accurate way of determining how hard an opponent hits. I mean, Maidana has an 84% figure, compared to Pacquiao's 64%. Does that mean Maidana's a bigger hitter? Of course not.
