if Khan defeats Kotelnik, should he fight against Maidana. winning maidana, he would get rid of the ghost of Prescott.
hmm says... he will probably never get rid the ghost of Prescott... 1 loss now-a-days is highly stigmatized by boxing fans/critics, and will haunt you for a long long time (especially the way you lose). He might get over it but ppl won't.
Khan-Maidana will NEVER happen. In fact, Maidana may turn out to be the most avoided fighter since Paul Williams. The world saw Maidana come back from two knockdowns to out gut Ortiz. No one wants to fight a wicked puncher who won't quit.
hmm says... true... but ppl wouldn't mind fighting a fighter that showed vulnerabilities. Ortiz was taken by surprise and didn't capitalize cause he never faced such a competition.
If he fights anyone above lightweight who can punch, ie 70% KO ratio or above against decent opposition, then he's going to get blown away. Unlike the Prescott KO, he will probably be knocked cold.
I agree with FlatNose. Maidana is one of those guys that will pick himself up off the mat and still win, thats a sign of a Champion.
Maidana would be a dangerous fight for Khan due to his power v Khan dodgy chin, but Khan is a brilliant boxer, far better than Victor Ortiz, and obviously he's not just going to let Maidana tee off on him. Risky fight, but Khan wins 8 times out of 10
Khan has been knocked down at least four times in his career to date, and never by a good fighter. You'd hav to think Maidana would knock him out cold
No one wants to see this fight, aint that right? Yeah. People want to see Khan fight a superstar like Eric Morales.
Khan suffers another DEVESTATING knockout if he faces Maidana. Khan isn't all that he's cracked up to be and Kotelnik will put an end to the hypejob.
Khan has no chin. Even againtst fighters 2 weight classes below him and as shot as ****, they are still able to make him taste the canvas... Fraud. Thats what Khan is. Against a Colombian road sweeper he was KTFO in 50 seconds, does anymore need to be said?
