Not really, Soto has always defended against pretty average opposition, his best win is Rocky Jaurez.

Khan has Maidana, Judah and Kotelnyk.

I'd much rather Khan fight a natural, more proven LWW..But I won't cry over him fighting Soto.

Don't worry. They're just creating options, like they contacted that Diego Chaves guy. They've probably got 6 fighters as options, and of course, they'll pick one. It won't be McCloskey.

I'm too handsome to be that nucca, bro.

Soto is a seasoned world champion in multiple weight classes, he's been fighting top level guys for the last 10 years, Khan's best win to date is Zab Judah ?, neither man can confess that they are or ever will be/have been "elite",and Soto isnt in the habit of being flattened by B level guys

I agree, a good solid JrWW who poses a minor threat would be nice, but Danny Garcia was that man !, Khan has limited options unless he's thrown back in at the deep end !, even then his options are still limited as the top guys are claiming he's irrelevant

Soto for me fits the bill, but i can understand the argument

Soto hasn't consistently fought the best during his career.

Not many fighters in and around the 130-135lbs weight class haven't fought any of the fab four.... so it's difficult to say how good he actually is (or isn't).

He's not a clown by any means, but he's hard to rate.

Given that he was beaten to a pulp by Lucas, he shouldn't be a viable opponent for Queen Khan.

    Guzman.... nope.
    Seated and defeated.... nope.

There's lots of options out there, just get one of them signed up.

Horrible fight. The one positive is that it could make a Khan-Brook fight more likely.
