Like I said, they're creating options. That's his team's job. If one opponent they hoped for doesn't work out, they can always fall back to another deal. If they don't have options in place, they could be stuck with time falling short, meaning no fight.

    It's how it works.

No he hasn't, he's not been fighting Joseph Laryea types, just solid guys, he's never fought the best in his weight class as a champion.

You think Judah is a better win then Maidana? :huh

Ouch, hit me where it hurts. Its not that complicated a concept, son.

Khans team and you, their new advisor, have done a bang up job of his career so far. Great options the likes of Prescott, that Cuban coach, that random strength guy

The business knowledge extend to this fight too?

Cos everyone on here seems to this its totally ******ed to look a McCloskey as an option, no?

DeMarcos Corley vs Amir Khan would probably be a better fight. But harder fight to sale.

It amazes me that McCloskey has fans? He is boxing's equivalent of the colour Grey.

Yeah, if it's not a complicated concept, why couldn't you understand the post I replied to Jim Bowen with?

I'm not affiliated with their team, but I'll defend them here.

Firstly, Prescott was a last minute resort. Another option, as the other opponent had pulled out. It was not his team who selected Prescott, it was Frank ******, who rightly admitted blame for this, post-fight. He selected the opponent, and matchmaker Dean Powell agreed with it, so where does the blame lie with team Khan here? Maybe for not looking into the opponent much themselves? Sure, alright, but that was his promoter and matchmakers job, not there's.

That Cuban coach? You do know he's the head trainer of Guillermo Rigondeaux, right?

You still don't understand. He's an OPTION. As ******ed as you may think a choice like McCloskey is, a team rightfully has to create options.

You say it's just a basic concept, yet you don't understand yourself.
