Does this mean Golden Boy won't be involved and it will be left to Khan promotions?

If so it could well be McCloskey, we seen with the last fight they organised here it's a case of opponent and undercard as cheap as possible.

    No

Golden Boy have initiated contact which means it will be there show

Hatton promotions provided the undercard for the last fight which was pretty dam good in my view, nothing spectacular but was pretty solid and entertaining, given McCloskey is with MR and there recent rise to prominence they may provide the under card, but thats not a given, as a show like this would be hard to see a profit margin, on paper its an opportunity to show some marquee names but it doesn't work like that as marquee names need marquee wages

    So watch this space

    That said .....................

If Match Room or any of the British Promoters invest in this night, it could become interesting providing the undercard looks strong !!, very strong :D

Not interested in this at all or hattons comeback, they both should fight eachother then people would take notice.

It's all gone a bit down hill of late what with this plus Froch against mack, cleverly fighting some poor opponent.

Fingers crossed haye gets the vitali fight

Laz is probably right here. We've had that Diego Chaves come out and say he's been contacted by Khan's people and now McCloskey's people say they're in talks. Team Khan/GBP are probably sounding a few opponents out atm.

However, it'd be a joke if this fight actually happened. Completely pointless rematch, it's not as if McCloskey's vastly improved since the first fight, if anything he's gone downhill.

    Quite significantly so IMO.

Khan's in a tricky situation with his opponent here I feel. Obviously he doesn't want to take a massive risk of 3 straight losses but I'd like to think he's not the type who would look to a Theophane/McCloskey type. Soto is the best risk/reward option for me.

I doubt diego chavez happens because he doesnt want to come down in weight. And lol at anyone who thinks this will really happen. Mccloskey offers nothing. Not even a higher ranking.

Fight makes sense for both parties.

I'd say McCloskey will fancy his chances as long as he actually throws a punch this time.

I won't be paying for this fight. NO CHANCE!!

This will be the last fight on Khan's current contract with Sky right?
