Cotto is fighting at 154. Kahn is fighting at 140. Won't happen.

I think TKO 8 for cotto unless khan fights the perfect fight on the run utilising his speed

Cotto disrupts Khan's rhythm by jabbing with him and throwing his whole gameplan off with that superior timing, and exposes his weaknesses of fighting backwards by proceeding to cut the ring off and break him down on the inside.

Khan would probably bank a few of the early rounds. I could see him using that good jab of his and some footwork to build up an early lead. It's not like Cotto is known for great defense.

But, Cotto would be in hyena mode: banging on that body and waiting for a stationary target. Once Khan slows down, Cotto lays some serious hurt on him and takes him out. Probably 8th round or later in a fight deemed pretty close on the unneccessary scorecards.

He has an above average defense, it's just that an aggressive style will get you hit when fighting offensive monsters like Pacquiao, Margarito, and Torres, or hard-hitting defensive fighters like Judah and Corely. I agree Khan could bank some rounds early based on his flurrying, but it wouldn't take that long for Cotto to figure out the way he's rushing in and neutralize it with his own jab and movement, before hunting him down.
