How do you make out that "only 2.5 k have been sold in ireland"?

Firstly, assuming that figure is correct, the Khans are saying that that is the number of tickets that the McCloskey family have sold personally.

Do you think that the only Irish supporters that are going are the ones that live around the McCloskey and bought directly from them?

Secondly, the Khans only gave the McCloskeys their tickets on a small drip and many people that would have bought them personally panicked as they kept hearing that McCloskeys had sold out and bought from ticketmaster.

Finally, Andy Murray and Jamie Kavanagh will also have sold tickets and Irish supporters in the south and in Britain will have purchased directly from ticketmaster.

LIke I said, lets see on the night if there are "only 2.5k" spudmunchers in the MEN.

The irish have been inflating the numbers, and blowing the chances of paul mccloskey out of proportion, The Irish media is running what can only best be described as propaganda to arouse popular sentiments.

The Irish are trying to stir up a media war against Khan and its going to back fire on them sunday morning.

I would take the irish figures and the irish media with a pinch of salt until sunday morning.

Am going to try and sort that primetime thing out today.Have used it once before and seem to remember it was a farce ordering it,hope it aint one again.

The closer the fight gets the less sure I get about Amir wining it,I might have £10 on McCloskey.

propaganda, most of the irish media have dismissed this fight completely, its not big news in ireland, the small amount of media coverage that this fight has gotten in ireland has been based on amir khan not paul mccoskey, mccloskey is relatively unheard of

Please provide examples or STFU :good

No Irish boxing fan I have spoken to considers that Dudey is favourite to win on Saturday night.

Crucify them for supporting their fighter though - thats logical!

The most important thing is that Khan gets through this without getting a bad cut. The Bradley bout is only just over 3 months away.
