It probably is, since I've got him banned on all of his accounts NoHomeJerome, NHJ, TwitterChamp, dig_it, The Situation, etc etc.
Mckloskey isnt going to be in a position to throw that uppercut in the 100 or so seconds this fight will last. He needs to treat this for what it is, an exhibition. Khan needs to give the crowd their moneys worth though, he needs to come in Apollo Creed style, dancers, planes on strings flying around, Singers, maybe some lions, while he dances down into the ring
Surely you cannot be serious? Hes an underdog without a doubt, but exhibition? 100 secs? Hes a live underdog here. Lets not get carried away with Khan, im still of the opinion that had he been in with a referee such as Steve smoger or Kenny Bayless, he wouldnt have lasted that 10th against Maidana. Also, if you are going to comment on a fighter - I suggest you learn to spell him name first....atsch
Amir Khan/Paul McCloskey FULL Press Conference! [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ea6S6XHvazw"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ea6S6XHvazw[/ame]
this is pure ignorance, the guy is undefeated, a former british champion, current european champion and has a decent amateur record and your predicting a 100 second annihilation.... (please)... If your willing to put your money where your mouth is I'll gladly take the bet.... You can't even spell the guys name and you reference scenes from fictional hollywood films... i get the impression you'll be more interested in the entrance music and the custom shorts and gown...
Jesus christ, either you two are joking or you're imbeciles As for the 100 seconds. The only people who won't don't think it will be anything but a demolition or either McCloskey fans, Irish or the deluded. What Maidana Vs Khan round 10 has got to do with Mccloskey being out of his depth is anyones guess.. Ignorance, I think not although perhaps harsh. As for being former British champ, Euro champ and having a decent amateur record.. Great. But it doesn't mean he's world class. He is far far from it. He belongs in the ring with the likes of Lenny Daws, Barry Morrison, Graham Earl, dabble around at country level, maybe Euro but hasn't got a prayer in hell of beating anyone at world level.
Why does he belong in the ring with Daws, Morrison and Earl if he would beat them with ease? "maybe Euro level" - eh, er! he is European champion, that kind of suggests that there is more than a maybe to his Euro creds.
laz malignaggi and mccloskey arent very alike in upper body movement paulie relied heavily on footwork ...moves his head to the one spot alot while mccloskey has great upperbody movement and he will be relyin on this alot in my view ....dudey is much more looser in the upperbody department paulie especially in the khan fight is quite stiff in that department
Just had the chance to watch this, and no surprise, another bizarre analysis from Dwyer. In my previous post I gave him the benefit of doubt, saying the reason he puts so much emphasis on the underdogs. is because he’s giving gambling advice as oppose to boxing predictions. But in this video he actually makes a few bold predictions. One of them being that Paul will be out-boxing Khan from round 3 onwards, and Khan will barely muster a points win. He cites the Kotelnik and Maidana fights as proof of Khan being ineffective in the latter rounds, but ignores the factors which contributed to this. And for some reason, he doesn’t even mention the one Khan-fight that comes the closest to this in terms of styles – the Malignaggi one. He was dealing with a fighter who’s also regarded as slick, moves around the ring well, and keeps his hands very low. This fight with McCloskey will likely be fought at that exact pace – where Khan won’t gassing towards the end. But, I guess he’s the man, Dwyer.
god,im just saying,no need to be a cry baby *****:| and again, khan don't like pressure fighters,i was just making a point,as gomez was a pressure fighter, and a very washed up pressure fighter at the time of khans 17th fight, and ya man still struggled:thumbsup
